If people can bring additional setups (TVs, consoles, controllers/sticks), it’d be helpful and it’ll prevent long rotations.
If people wanna do some team event, I’m open to it.
We should do maybe single tourny or 2v2 random teams.

I’mma try to hold a session every other week.
As for events, gonna try and plan ahead of time… and hopefully hold them before people randomly come and leave.
Event ideas (all mock tourneys of course)
v # Random teams (1st v 1st, 2nd vs 2nd, etc OR winner stays)
Crew battle (1st v 1st, 2nd vs 2nd, etc OR winner stays)
Singles tourney (2 outta 3, double elim)
2v2 SBO SF4 Format
2v2 Singles tourney (Mikado style: 1 player selects 2 characters)
Randomness (like last session, I’d advise against this)
Had mucho fun at Stony Brook. The tourneys were fun and I had a lot fun playing melee again

SF4 Crack @ the SAC
Date: Saturday March 6, 2010
When: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM (early birds can come at 2)
Where: Student Activities Center Commuter Lounge Basement
Setup: who knows?
Do it once, do it again.
If you guys can help bring setups (TVs/consoles/sticks), it’ll help a lot. If you want to bring additional games, go for it.
I’m gonna leave one setup dedicated to FT3/FT5/FT10 for MM or pride. Challenge whoever and if everyone gets hype for the matches, I’ll switch it over to the big TV unless the players have a problem with it.
Gonna start doing and rotating “main events” from now on.
So for this session, the main event will be:
2v2 SBO SF4 Format
How it works:
Team A vs. Team B
A1 vs. B1 (their first players)
A2 vs. B2 (their 2nd players)
and if one member from each team wins, they duke it out
Single Elimination, One Match
Players have to stick with the same character for the entire event
I’ll start the main event once everyone’s settled and warmed up.
This session will probably run short since I’m gonna end it after the 2v2 is done.
