I was playing TurtleHugo at MvC2 over at Whimsey on Monday. He said he had some ride issues. And for the people who likes to wonder, he kicked my ass at MvC2 too. I seriously need to stop falling for some of those Cable traps.
Pick storm, Get some damage on him, run away, Watch out for AHVB and punish his assist = You win. Once he loses cable he loses any chance of winning the match. His Sent sucks but if your impatient he can still beat you. Just rush him down while his assist is out.
Jeremy sucks. His scrub tactics will only get him so far. I beat his team scrub with Storm/strider/doom before and I dont even use that team much.
MvC2 can be soo fun sometimes. BTW, gambits projectile assist allows you to do some of the craziest and funnest shit in the game. EX: with Colossus, assist w/gambit and do crouch HP at the same time then do shoulder tackle. Right after the tackle, the cards from gambit should connect and hold opponent in the air for a second. Now launch into air combo then Dive Bomb special, almost full life damage! There’s so many specials and combos that can be linked because of that assist it’s rediculous! Too bad only 6-8 out of the 50 or so characters are ever played.
Its actually down to 5 nowadays lol.
I’m not sure I’ve said this but I just started to pick up Marvel seriously like about a month ago. BTW, I use team Duc (Spiral/Sent/CapCom). What happens is that my Sent gets caught in the air with Cable’s jump.fierce xx Hyper Viper so once my Sent is gone, I can’t nail the Spiral/Sent chip damage string.
hey guys, just wanted to know if there’s still any 3s tourny’s or casuals going on at CL. I just moved back to Stockton and I really want to get back into 3s and cvs2. I hear they play it on xbox too…hehe which is cool since I’m a total 3s xbox live scrub.
