i would say people need to stop leaving shit places but inevitably saying that means i’ll be the next person to lose something. also, serving alcohol at my hook-ups isn’t exactly doing my complaint any favors. so instead i’ll just gently remind you all to check your person for all sticks, games, hdmi chords, memory cards, quick disconnect cables, or deodorant (yes i’m seriously someone left under arm deodorant once) before you leave. that is all

DON’T BREAK MY ASS!!!

wait…

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly everybody’s first reaction to your team.

You’re my hero, JJJ. Hope I can catch some more games with you after your vacation, but before I go back to school.

May as well start a Lost & Found Voracious…didn’t know people left stuff around like that…just curious…how’s the AC repair going?

actually glad you asked. we ordered the part and it’s getting fixed within the next 48 hours. not sure whether this means it’ll be done by wednesday for casuals or not, but it’ll be done soon which i’m excited for. regardless, if not this wednesday it’ll be nice and cool for juggle pros the following week.

also i’ll be playing virtual pro wrestling 2 on the n64 this week. just so you all know two can play the “sit alone at a screen and play wrestling games” … game.

DON’T STEAL MY BAG!!!

Hey duke how much to add the ps3 dual mod if I gave you a ps3 controller and I have wires and clips already?

Cant use ps3 pad. Need a board from toodles…which i have in stock. 85$ all parts and labor included.

Hey, everyone, I’m spamming the Midwest region a little bit and trying to get hype for a tourny we’re throwing in a couple months:

This is a continuation of the Extravaganza major. It’s been traditionally a Tekken event, but I’m trying to make it bigger and badder and get all the 2d kids out. I feel like I know a lot of folks around the Midwest, so feel free to ask around if you’re curious. Seeing that we’re equidistant from a few major cities, there’s no reason we can’t get this thing huge, especially with how cheap everything is here. Anyway, I’m out, promise I won’t spam y’all anymore, or maybe just once more when we hit September.

Later!

gah that will be nice, alcoholocaust was fun but maaaannnnnnnn i was sweaty :o

i took off for the next marvel/ae tourney in september

do you guys do stuff every monday? i’m sometimes free late those nights and i occasionally see you guys are going to be there

Its offical we are here!!!

STL Bar Warz Presents : 90’s Fighting Game Tribute Tournament (August 31st, 2011)

The majority of the games that will be played have been chosen and will be announced soon. However I have some open spots and may consider opting for alternate choices. Please make suggestions (particularly from 1990-1994) and they will be taken into consideration! All games (2D/3D) welcome, but games with at least a fairly competitive/balanced nature are best.

Format:

 • Three person teams.
 • Three tournament segments (Early 90s, Mid 90’s, Late 90’s) each with two blocks of three games (for a total of 18 games).
 • Each team elects one of their players to play one of the three games in each block. Each player will play a total of 6 games.
 • Each Team will play a different team in each section. The picks will be random. You will play a different team every round unless all teams have played each other once.
 • The games played by individual players will work on a “blind pick” system. They will be pre-determined prior to the tournament by the teams and unknown their competitors until prior to the matches.
 • Payout 70/20/10 for top finishing teams.
 • $6 for each Team Member to enter.
 • Tournament ran on a point system. Each match will be 3/5 games.
 • Where possible, games will be played on native systems. When all the games are announced the control system (sticks/pads/whathaveyou) will also be announced. Take this into consideration when picking which team member will play what game. Outside controllers will be welcomed but must be cleared for fair use before the tournament (NO TURBO!).

EXAMPLE : Late-90’s Block Two :
Marvel vs. Capcom : Clash of the Super Heroes (1998) (Team Asshats Player 1 vs. Team Buttheads Player 1)
Street Fighter III : 3rd Strike (1999) (Team Asshats Player 2 vs. Team Buttheads Player 2)
Garou : Mark of the Wolves (1999) (Team Asshats Player 3 vs. Team Buttheads Player 3)

Each win earns 1 point … say that Team Asshats won MVC1 & Garou … but lost 3rd Strike … Then Team Asshats gets 2 points … and Team Buttheads gets 1 point for that block.

There will also be special prizes for top placing teams which will be announced within the upcoming week or so! Feedback is wanted/needed. Please let me know what you think.
