JJJ gets me in a combo and i say, “im dead” and lets go of the stick and drink. JJJ drops his combo, i notice and hold block while im still finishing my drink. i come back with lv 3 x-factor wesker. JJJ says “WTF!!!” then we both laugh.

moral of the story - JJJ’s team is CHEAP!!! way tooooo many guessing games, i cant think that many steps ahead. its ok, luck and lv 3 x-factor will work sooner or later.

JJJ - Went to friend’s house today, found Swap Magic after a long search so…next Wednesday…duh-duh-duhhhh!!

I may or may not be at Danno’s next week, it depends. In any case I will be sending HnK + Swap Magic with Gllty for JJJ to get his HNK on so there’s that.

Next time I come to Danno’s there will be much GGXX and BBCS2, I’ll see what I can do on bringing setups.

Good times last night as always. I’m glad I finally got some grinding in on MK9. Good games to Hatman, took me awhile to figure out the matchup, but then things got rolling. GG’s against that really good Tekken player who plays Lee (I always forget his name, someone help me out), your Kung Lao is a touch different then Killshots but you still fucked me up bad. 2 babalities in a row made me feel pretty awful haha, but once I hit training mode a little more and get a better feel on the matchup maybe I’ll do better. If not I’m picking up a second character. Close range fast pressure seems to be the only thing Cyrax has some trouble dealing with, but that may just be a flaw in my play.

GG’s to AKA on BBCS2, even though I was practically mashing. I mostly wanted to play you to see you play. Got me even more excited to get back into the game, so I’ll be practicing that a lot too. And Ben and I are probably gona just dl a PS2 emulator to run GGAC+ soon, cause we’re broke and lazy, but hopefully I can learn a little in that game too.

Impromptu Jack in the Box hookup was gdlk.
Things I learned:

  • Don’t fuck with Steve even if you’re mentally handicapped, he’ll still kick your ass.

I think there are many players who plan to play CS and how those games evolve will have a large impact on those who keep going or stop. Anyone with a love for Akyss games will be playing CS2 for sure and who knows maybe some new people will get into it. I geuss its just me but id much prefer learning it to MK as a game to take tournament serious. I wanna learn mk though too bleh. When even I don’t have time for new games man theres too much shit out there right now.

Kriaser - It seems like there’s quite a few people actually interested in playing CS2. There were already a core group of people who played, but we never really went out of our way to recruit new people for Arc Systems games. Recently there’s been kind of a revival effort going on, so it’s the perfect time to get involved.

Gllty, Myself, Steve (4gotten_Kazama), Rob (PRO), Atrice (Most_Unknown), PJ (Datboy STL), Loli-Zero, Evil Ben, LUG3R, Andy (Black Hat), are all actively playing or at least interested in playing. You won’t find a shortage of comp for BBCS2 or GGXX if you just ask about it.

Loli Zero - Yeah GG’s man! We’ll play again soon. Now that CS2 is out I’m sure that a lot of the people interested in the game are going to be getting in the lab for it in order to figure out all of the new stuff. Let me know when you’re down for GGXX or MK9 as well.
