we’ve seen allen’s zero/mags vids. i thought about doing the same. it’s not as cool cuz the record function only goes 10 seconds, but its enough to get the starter. we all should know how to end the combos. go easy on me.

if you do a long combo, you can do the loop long enough to get 1 bar so you can finish off with hyper or DHC glitch. outside of a long combo, you can get up to 11 reps (used for thor, hulk, haggar, big guys)

i like this one cuz if you are one that cant do the rom loop or start the day 1 loop with your back in the corner, this can help out BIG TIME! you can get 3 reps of this before going into the dhc glitch.

Tonight is also the official Danno’s record release party for Tyler the Creator’s “Goblin” which just dropped this week. Jon Hellwig will be playing the deluxe edition (with all the bonus tracks) in its entirety. Also although we normally have food up at the bar, we just closed our kitchen for renovations this week. So you’re more than welcome to bring in outside food until we reopen it. Some suggestions:

Obvious nearby fast food junk : Jack in the Box, Steak n Shake, White Castle.

Ding Ho - Chinese restaurant across the street. Get the $5 all day combination plates. The pineapple chicken is godlike.

Penn Station - Inside Yorkshire plaza over off Laclede Station rd.

Yorkshire Deli - Same plaza … mom and pop deli shop … amazinggg stuff. Not sure if they do warm sandwiches (probably) but their coldcuts are ridiculous. Check out their menu AllMenus Menu for Yorkshire Deli | menuism

It’s true that I’m not really as into games as I used to be, but there’s something wrong with my left arm so any time I play I have pain all the way up to my shoulderblades. I’d be playing GG if I could :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually my plans for the evening went up in flames, so I can probably show up at danno’s around midnight for that Mahvel/Super/BB/GG/MK action. I’m kinda glad too, I’ve been itchin to play real people more often with PSN down.

Also, Mubashir and I went to Ding Ho once. It was pretty good.

Are you guys still trying to play some GG? I’ve been looking around for a copy of Accent Core: Plus and I can’t find that joint anywhere, except the internets, of course. All I have, here at home, is GGX2 and Isuka. But whatevs, I finally got my copy of Mortal Kombat. Lol I’ll be a slob tonight so I’m looking for some tips on how to play. I wasn’t really big into Mortal Kombat back in the day so think of this as a literal “reboot” for me also.

I can fix it and drop it off to Chris next Tuesday night so you can get it next Weds right when you get to Danno’s.
I am never at Dannos before midnight unless I took off work, and I only do that once a month for tournnies.

edit*** I wouldnt fix it at Danno’s anyway. i’m going to have to sit down, take some time and troubleshoot the problem at home with all my tools.

I’m bringing GGX tonight. I’m also bringing BBCS. Someone will need to have a patched console but if we can access internet there it should be no big thing. Also if you want DLC characters youre fucked unless you have them purchased on your console, in which case bring it along with you.

MK9 is soooo much fun. I don’t know if it’s just flavor of the month, but it feels like a strong game. It almost has an ST feel to it because of the high damage combos and the strength of zoning. At the same time, dash cancelling keeps the game from feeling sluggish.

I’m officially done w/ the semester after 5 PM on Thursday so I won’t be ditching you guys anymore.
