It’s is conceived that MMs are the best way to learn to play the game the way it’s supposed to be played. With money on the line, your liable to play the way you’ll play in tourneys, or more likely going to play with your greatest effort. It’s probably more true that MMs show you how good you are, so it’s more of a showcase than a learning experience, although it’s probably true that both exist.

Point is, Mr. K (Fudd) wants to play Allen in a setting where both are bringing their best efforts. And you have to kinda do that with Allen. He’ll shut off if you’re not challenging him. So you’ll be trying, and may finally grab a round or a win, while being relieved, and he’ll not even be trying. Smh lol!

I have way too many bad habits. I never had to adapt to anyone because I live in the middle of BFE and none of my friends wanted to try and provide a challenge. Been playing fighters since SF2, but when you can just learn one sick combo and do it over and over you don’t have to think much.

You guys are so lucky having comp in your town. I have to drive at least 2 hours to play anyone at all. I have to force myself to stop playing online. It’s the only way to play other people, but between lag and retarded play, it actually makes me worse.
