seriously though … ST is enjoyed mainly by those who grew up during the fighing game revolution. Most “new schoolers” don’t appreciate what fighting games were and where they came from. Their skillz lack because they didn’t build a foundation on the old games, which is what all the new shit is inspired by. W/o 6 grooves, dashes/air, 5 super moves, super jumps, and 10 gillion characters they think a game is “simple” ??? If it’s so simple why can’t you win then chump? :wow:

The closest one is in Columbia, about 100 miles west of us. The next monthly there is this upcoming Saturday (the 18th). There’s a scattered 3s scene here, consisting of people who play other games as their main games (TTT, soon T5, GGXX#R, and CvS2 are the main games played here), but there are people who WILL play 3s. Some of us have more than a passing interest in it, others have looked at it almost as much as their main game. That’s a lot more than you asked, I know, but hey.
DRU- Is the ST (if it can be called ST) on the Street Fighter anniversary addition a good port for ST.
What I mean is, can you practice and good a good feel for ST by playing this port?

Where in the St. Louis area do you stay? If you stay in the city and are looking for some formible comp in 3’s or any other 2D then there is a few of us here also. Like Aaron said, 3’s is like one of the secondary games here, but its all good though so just about everyone plays it. I don’t know about alpha3, but everything else you mentioned, we play also. MvC2 is been dooned as the scrub game, but I like it and will gladly dish out some bullsh*t if you want in that game as well as the others.:devil: What college do you attend BTW.
