The game has a lot of interesting techniques to it but seemed like it was not completly polished. Mainly two things kept me from really enjoying the game.
A turn button in a 2D game! The fact that everytime I attempted to cross or was crossed up by an opponent I had to take time out to press a freakin button to turn and face the other direction, was pissin me off. I mean it seems like it could add a whole new strategy to the game, but at times it was pretty hard to predict if you were going to change directions with you oppenet. And certain moves, such as Pot’s potemkin buster, would flip you so that you had to change directions. This I found very irritating and unnecessary at times. And when you are unfortunate to be without a team mate, you have the devilish task of trying to block to characters at the same time, stupid! I’m sorry, GGX seems too fast paced for a dumb and tasky turn button.
My second beef comes from not being able to see what the hell I was doing when I had to fight in the background. I mean how are you supposed to, when you have a big @ss Potemkin hopin and skipin around in the foreground. Again GGX is too fast paced for somthin like that to be happenin all the time, you really can not affored to loose sight of whatz going on, even for the slightest milli second. Especially when your fighting the team Zappa and Pot, or Eddy.
Insuka has a lot of potential, but is too unpolished for me to play for an extened amount of time without having the overwhelming feeling of needing to completly destroy an inosent, inanimate object.:mad: :lol: Maybe if they made the game tag functional, you know like Tekken Tag or somthin, the game would play much more smoothly. The one thing I did like about playing the game though, was the fact that I got to test out the #R version of the GGX characters since I have not yet got a chance to play Reloaded.
Maybe Insuka will have an much improved second version. Hopefully enough people buy the game to encourage a sequal, cause it “does” have potential, but for now it sux to me.
