just a heads up, the next Columbia monthly is next sat. July 17th sorry if this is late news to anyone but I lost my ISP at home AND werk!:mad:
Uh, I don’t know overall, but three of the people who play in the Wreck Room in Columbia are in the top 30 in the world and numbers 1-3 in the region…however recently one of them has moved away. That’s if you go by iGames as official rankings. They all used to play on the same HALO team, so they were def. the best in the state.

I also need to practice MvC2, because Dirty Dancing didn’t fare so well at MWC (2-and-out is no way to go!).

Hey all Im going to be moving up to the area OFallon to be exact Im not sure how far that is from everything. Hopefully I can find some good places to play. I will also have my candy cab with alpha 3 and some samurai showdown if anyone ever wants to play. Im not really sure were to go to play and all so I will probably ask a few questions. it depends, what games do you play? but generally, o’fallon is a really good place for games.
As for fighters I like to play just about anything. I like Guilty Gear I’ve never played it in a arcade but there is a first time for everything, alpha 3 is probably my favorite though and my best since I have it in my cab I get alot of practice. I’ll play Marvel as well though I’m pretty bad. I like to do LAN games as well

Verbel: No one plays A3 here. It’s all about Guilty Gear, Tekken and VF, with a little ST to cleanse the pallette here in Saint Louis. I look forward to meeting you when you arrive.
Steve: Practice your Akira combos. Get to the 8th arcade in quest and play there constantly. Learn Evade-double throw escape gaurd, and double throw escape guard. Ask me or Tim to print off the VF4:Evo frame data. DOITDOITDOIT GOGOGOGO!!! Akira is an absurdly hard character to play, and if you don’t put the time in, you’re not going to get anywhere. Yes, that’s kinda blunt, but, it’s also very true. Though I don’t know you very well, your Zappa is sick, and it seems like you have a lot of talent. You just need to harness it properly and your VF game will improve rapidly. Once I get a car I’ll try to get out to your place or something for weekly sessions.
Also, GGs to Matt, Derek, and Aaron in XX, #Reload, Time Killers, and Pong. Yes, we went there.
Hehe…OK, well I’ll talk to Shaun and see if he’d be down for a road trip. Columbia isn’t that far away, I s’pose.

What’s up ya’ll. Maybe Player told ya, but now it’s official. Tekken Tag tournament is being held at CP Game Room in Troy at 6pm Sunday the 18th. Sorry about the late notice. It’s only $5 to enter and 1st place tkes 60%. We got hella other games to play and 18 computers hooked up on LAN. The following Sunday will be Tekken 4 for $ 5.
After countless hours of driving we finally gave up on our search for GGXX. So we broke down and bought it online. So, anyone interested in a Tourney should contact me. I’ll set up an event in the beginning of August for some real money if we can get everyone out here.
Oh yeah, we got a LAN this Friday that is gonna be hella tight. $ 15 from 7pm to 7am and you get free pizza.
I hear Aaron is pretty good in GGXX. Aaron, get ahold of me man.

Hey, aye am Scott. The only fighting game aye play is GGXX #R. However, aye am all for LANing it up! Aye just got a badass laptop and aye have a badass desktop, so aye am all about teh LAN. What games do j00 play?

I like ST but its in no way my fav. I like GGXX #R but, I’ve never even seem it in a arcade all we have here is MvsC2. As for Lan right now I play UT 2K4 Call of Duty BF 42 and Vietnam again I’ll play almost anything. EmX I like VF alot as well but I’ve never been able to play any of the newer games in the Arcade either just at home.

Verbel: The arcade scene is almost non-existent here, man. We mostly hookup at one of the local players’ houses. VF is not an easy game to play, but if you’re interested, I’m willing to hook you up with all the info I can get.
