to Rex0r, I know you’re trying to give me respect for being “decent” but are YOU actually any good? I’m tired of people thinking I’m not good or just decent cause I’m fairly new to shoryuken forums. I read the forums a bit before registering. I beat Magmafisher like 3 to 1 playing with all different characters. he said he’s 10th to 15th best though. and you are running a 5 match exhibition? I’ll play you if I can make it, I should know by tomorrow. I’ll play Balrog and Sagat.
Sagat against Honda, Rufus, and Dhalsim. Balrog against Akuma and Abel. Honda and Rufus do horrible against Sagat. Sagat can punish blocked headbutt with kara tiger uppercut. Tigerknee pwns Rufus’s divekick guessing game bullshit. But I understand if you don’t want to play since I’m trying to counter-pick you. I play to win if it means I get free entree into the tournament.
I watch Japanese videos almost everyday. I can do all the hard combos, yes…even in matches. My ground work is probably just as good as the ones in the videos. I watch a lot of Mago and Aojiru Guile videos. Those two are my idols, rofl. I think I have seen all of their videos.
I think it’s pretty disrespectful for me to come on here and ask for a challenge, and then have you put me up against a flowchart Ken in some exhibition. Is that how everyone sees online players? As flowchart? Maybe I need to talk more shit, and if my shit talking can get me to play someone better than me, then I will talk shit till my asshole hurts.

edit: I’m home sick today so I’m going to troll hard!! Also, if any of you care, I ended up going 5-2 in my pool losing to the SAME Gief twice. Both times it came down to Match 3, Game 3. The first time, he won with EX Green Hand. As you all know, I’m very much an auditory player, and I couldn’t hear the startup grunt, so I just kinda stood there. The 2nd time he got me with a psychic 720. Big frown town.

I’d also back Rex over just about any online random as well. No disrespect to you f0rest, but Rex IS the hot fire! Most of the above average players quit playing online due to lag issues, so you really can’t compare any of the online randoms to real life opponents.

I said I was fairly new to shoryuken, not to Street Fighter. I’ve played in a tournament before and did really well. I got 7th place out of approximately 125 people. I doubt any of you guys can do that. I lost to the guy that got 1st place BARELY. He got me with a lucky random headbutt into Ultra. This was in San Francisco earlier this year though and it was at an Anime Convention but there were still some really good people there regardless.
anime con street fighter tournaments don’t count.

The guy that won first was running casual matches after the tournament ended. I BEAT him two times out of TWO. He even told me my Balrog was really good and that I should start coming out more. But I don’t have to listen to you, I was there, you weren’t. I had to beat some good people.
Were these good people ‘XxInuyashaluvrxX’ or ‘XxSamuraiwarriorxX’? If so, here’s a hint. They weren’t good.

the tournament your talking about was won by crackfiend, and our friend from columbia(gief player) was there and placed 4th. tho if crackfiend said your boxer was good thats a strong reccomendation. should be fun, nice to have a new good player in the scene.
