Sticky Character Info Threads

if you need help with maki. just remember. when in doubt. mash on KKK

jk

everyone is sandbagging…some people think that a few tricks here and there will help them place high…haha…

i wonder how many people are hiding their version of blanka ball super crossup…or maybe that 2p tiger knee crossup…or maybe even CROUCHING JAB with a certain character???

 allright allright i won’t spoil it…

As of right now I’m honesty disgusted at how easy to use Yamazaki is. Here I’ve been trying to do advanced stuff while mashers everywhere have been doing jump all day, mash, mash, mash, saa!, saa!, saa! all over the place. I think Yamazaki is the only character in the game that can’t do jab, jab xx super. Better to roll and do it randomly instead.

Anyway, can somebody make some sticky threads? I’ve been meaning to put up Yamazaki’s info.

all you have to do with sagat to be good is down fierce.

I had 30mins so I did the Ryu and Ken ones. I’ll add some info later, just a heads up that they’re made.

Do you have the book? You can take the any of the data from the threads I made if you need it. As for strategy and move uses I wrote, there are lot of random mistakes I haven’t gotten around to fixing yet (and currently have no intention to), so it’s probably better to write stuff on your own.

Examples:
-Ryu d.MP, not just a hop kick, will also stuff a Blanka slide.
-Some of the things in the Ken thread I wrote that can’t be jumped from, actually can be. d.LP, run up d.LK in particular. If you want to do it correctly, you need to do d.LP, VERY slight wait, d.LK instead. I now strongly feel that constantly abusing the run when up close is actually the sign of a beginner. I’m trying my best to avoid it whenever I use N from now on.

I guess nobody likes Yamazaki???

I’m in the middle of High School Exams, so my free time is sparse at the moment, so if you have the time to post your notes (even without correction) they are an excellent source of strats. I will eventually get around to adding info myself, but you wrote some good stuff ;).
