Sticks on Vita?

Mini Stick? I recall grabbing one of these with the limited edition of BlazBlue, and my god was it one horrendous piece of equipment.

A friend and I were discussing game show footage of a vita on a big screen and how you can see a cable leading to the proprietary port on the bottom of it, although it may have been a developer Vita, since they have hdmi out.

I’m holding onto hope that some cable or whatever comes out.

One of the 1st things I when I got a GO. Made lunch time at work cooler…Shame there was no local multi support, but I can understand why there wouldn’t be.

Funny thing when I made this video, I never intended on posting it due to my embarrassing alpha shoto :stuck_out_tongue:

Someone has gotta make a USB to Bluetooth piece. One of those and an HDMI out would be great.

Nice work kubebot!

I’m all for a Vital portable stick as well.

One of the reasons I just had a switchable USB/Project LEO Hori V3 made was in anticipation of the Vita. It has worked great via BT as my home PS3 stick for now as well. Now all I need is the HDMI out that the Vita dev kits have.

What up Markman. Have had my PS Vita since launch and I’m just throwing out there that I hope the tidbit Yoshinoro threw out about you guys making a mini stick is true. I love playing UMvC3 on Vita but I’m a stick player and would like the option, not only for that game but the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat and SFxT on Vita. Make it a mini version of the TE with a PS Vita dock and 6 24mm Sanwas. Hell, make it a limited run of 1000 since it’s obviously a niche but there are those interested like myself as you can clearly see. I’d easily pay $100 for it. Just do up the packaging nice for it like the TE and I’m sold. Playing fighters on the go is an awesome idea…I don’t care how small the screen is.

When you think about it if one were to go on vacation to some place, I’m not going to stuff my PS3 or 360 into my luggage, maybe a T.V., and my fightstick when I’m going there to have a good time but for those unforeseen stuck inside your hotel room boring moments, a good match of SF or MK couldn’t hurt.

Now the Vita just requires a portable console in your pocket, and a fightstick. A lot of real estate being saved. Only downer is the small screen but you saved space over performance. Quantity vs Quality eh?

What a downer that is because I think that is an awesome idea. It would actually give me a reason to travel around with my Vita instead of letting it gather dust.

~yah dude my only hope now is anybody from the fgc to come up with something

I hope so because right now I haven’t bought any of the fighting games because of the lack of stick support. It just doesn’t quite compute on a handheld. What do you think of them? Worth the buy?

having the Brady guide and game on the vita makes allot of fun fighter theory specialy for marvel, i’m picking up the sfxt for fun mostly cause they have not release AE on the vita

its not bad i buy other games but i always end up playing umvc3 lol

Welp, someone had to say it: http://pspslimhacks.com/ps-vita-arcade-stick-hackmod/

Mad props to this dude.

Poo

I’ve got the Brady guide for UMVC3 but nothing else. The others just don’t seem as detailed

I agree with this, it would be a cool and easy way to show off a new stick, but also you could play on a cartrip or in the bathtub more safely.

Is there another guide that is worth buying?

I know it’s been a while, but did anyone get any further with it? You’d think something could work over bluetooth at least… but I haven’t seen 100% yet.
