Stick/keyboard/controller

Probably you are using an USB adapter, which causes serious delay. You should use a LPT1 port adapter, you can even do it yourself. If interested, I’ll give you the link to the how-to-build the adapter. I have done it and now my pad works flawlessly.

hook me up.

me too, shit.

Goes great with my Radio Shack PS2 -> USB Converter.

That a DOA 4 stick mod?

Yes it is.

I have this cheap tremon controller, sorta like a ps2 controller. i’m having trouble excuting some moves on it -_-. It must be my fingers, but it’s really hard to do simple specials etc…

I have used the Logitech Precision 2 gamepad for about 5 months now and have to say Im more than pleased with it,hard to find a decent pad anymore without the analog sticks,I picked mine up here http://www.provantage.com/logitech-963335-0403~7LGTC96U.htm and that figures, about $2.00 cheaper then when I got mine, about the cheapest place Ive seen for electronics in general.

can someone tell me if the street fighter anniversary arcade stick (http://www.videogamecentral.com/misc/un40621.jpg) can work with this adapter

i really want this to work in order for me to play at my best online

my friend got this adapter and i’ve been wanting to use my arcade stick ever since to play online

KB

IMO, the only hard part about using kb is getting use to it when you make the transition from stick or pad. Eventually, you will be able to get most of the motions down pat except the hard ones like 720 or buffing Charlie’s sommersault super.

Funny thing about KB is, I originally used the 1st gen. MS natural kb, it worked wonders, then I spill drink on it, got the newer natural kb, it sucked ass, can’t even combo a simple cr. mk into any super. Then I got a $5 no name made in China kb, and everything is a-ok again.

Interesting. I always wondered how you guys use KB for KOF.

I use a Saitek Remote which can be annoying at time. I have been looking for a good adapter to use my PS2 remote.

That’s…beautiful…

I have the Guile SF controller for Xbox. And I have this xbox-usb adapter that’s not exactly an adapter. It’s a breakaway cable replacement that has a usb end. I have to hold it in the ‘claw’ position. I want a stick but my apartment is too small (ok… my fiancee won’t let me bcause our apt is too small). I don’t know how anyone can play with keyboard. I can’t deal with all the necessary hotkeys needed for that to work.

No reason that shouldn’t work. I guess it’s dependent on the drivers, but seriously, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

I’ve tried that stick with every adapter i could find including that one and it just doesn’t work. Probably because of the XboX stuff in the stick interferring.

this i what i use

an u use the supr joy box 10 xbox adapter
with a gemini ps2 to xbox gamcube adapter from walmart plugged into it
i dont get any lag or delay

x-arcade. simple’ as that.

First post here w00t! Anyway i use a keyboard but if you played me youd think i would have a controller.
