STFU AND PLAY a Monthly Alternating Tourney Feat. MvC3 and SSFIV (Coming soon)

I am not going to have stream just because of scheduling people are welcome to bring camera’s but as for streaming its a no

From what I hear the night time is not doing as well it used to so thus my friend (the bartender) came up with the tourney idea also he’s hoping that if this brings more revenue he can actually throw club nights at the place

The rest of the place will still be open but I will have poster or stand to tell guests that a event is going down and that they are welcome to join us

How’d you swing this shit mang? Sorry if you answered that already. I was too lazy to read.

ok i know its all said and done, and theres still saltiness. thats understandable. but this statement is bull shit. fae didnt give great hospitality? They didnt let you sty WAAAY past the alloted time frame? They didnt provide a venue where people left joints and made a huge mess? They didnt provide free parking? You guys didnt throw ANY tournements there? They didn’t let minors into areas where they werent allowed to go, but they did anyways?

dicked over by a bitch ass manager? ive said this multiple times, it wasn his desicion. were you there that night when he covered for fae and he gave out HELLA free drinks for isaiah birthday? ontop of making hot dogs for everyone. sure he hid from frank, but who wouldnt? hahaha jk

dont get me wrong, i hated working there in the restaraunt. and i ahte a lot of people who work there. but honestly that manager (ian) has been nothing but great to me, so im gonna jump in and say shut the fuck about it. whats done is done.

if something get stolen from o’asian, it’ll be the same story, but atleast KK wont have his job on the line like fae or jacob did after it happened.

My friend is the bartender Mandy who you met at Fort St George.

Business has been slow lately at O Asian

Well you accept him as a manager and I don’t, that’s okay. I hardly agree with my friends on everything anyway. However, you don’t run away from an issue when you’re level is that of a “professional” or in the degree that professionalism demands from your job, such of that as a “manager”. I’ve been a “manager” before and no, it wasn’t at a Hotel but just the same, a manager should hold high standards and keep his/her responsibilities serious while on the job.

I just don’t like it when people (friends, family, strangers included) have responsibility and they drop the ball so to speak. We’re all adults here. Well except the few people who post on SRK who are still in high school and shit, lol.

Anyway, to get away from Super Joe’s Ethics & Morals, lol, I think that O’Asian will have a bright future if we follow the rules of the house and be respectful of the environment that we are in.

Lets just have fun with this one [^_^]

Good shit KK, when do you think the first event will be so I can get the day off? Also what are your thoughts about running an ST (or HDR at worst) side tournament? Are you just trying to keep it to one game per month?

Right now just 1 tourney per month

ST and HDR I don’t about I know ST is the game to play with bigger attendance but HDR is the evo game with lower ammount of people wanting to play it seriously so as of now just MvC3 and SSFIV.

As for the first official tourney when everything get finalize it’ll be the last saturday of february the 26th, but I’ll throw a trial SSFIV tourney maybe the end of the month or the beginning of next month.

I will always throw the throw the tourney every last saturday of the month. But thats if the venue give me the answer we all want to hear.

Sounds awesome. Planning to be there.

Yeah, that’s what I meant, Josh when I said hospitality - I wasn’t being sarcastic. It was just tight hanging out with people, playing some SF, and then turning around and getting drinks on from a bartender that actually appreciates and knows something about fighting games and is fun to talk to.

For a newcomer into the community like me at the time, I think I met like most of the people in the community through there.

Here’s to hoping this new place will provide similar experiences

oh i didnt mean to quote you thinking it was sarcasm  it was for reference

Thumbs up for minors right?

Yup enforcing wrist bands
