Step up your 3s game with interviews featuring top players

i bet you they are working on publishing a strategy guide just like the MASTER GUIDE out in japan… WAY TO CAPITALIZE ON STREET FIGHTER GUYS! lol just messing…

keep up with that shit…

them podcasts are fucking AMAZING!!!

see you at ai

omg rly…get an interview with daigo umehara -______-

Nevermind, but could this be Rockafeller in disguise???

This is amazing. Maybe you could do a little MvC2 and TvC once it comes out as well

rockefeller is funny…

Valle interview is really intriguing

Considering it was talking about he arch rival John Choi, any possibilty that would be a good follow up?

Finally had the chance to listen to Alex Valle’s podcast
That was excellent. It was really good to hear from someone who is oldschool; I consider myself a 1st gen Canadian SF2 player and it was just good to hear him talk about old tourneys and rivalries.

"im gonna play the guy that beat me in my fuckin home turf…PLUS his buddies"
haha the coolest part of the podcast…great story…this needs to be heard EVERYWHERE if you want to know about the past of SF

Forget all that other stuff, you need to listen to the podcast for the Kuni impression.

Definitely. Hearing about how everything started for him was great. I never knew Mike was so good before Alex knew him. Watching those B3 videos, the Alpha 3 videos, reading a bit on the players in Sirlin’s “Playing To Win”, and hearing those podcasts help tremendously in knowing the community that much better. It really gives you a sense of how great these players are, being so young, yet so dominant in the games they choose to be. It makes you realize how good Justin REALLY is, because he was already MvC2 champ, and playing in the Japan 5v5 in EVO 2K2 when he was only 16.

Kuni impression was priceless too. You can really imagine it.

Honestly, I think the Pyrolee podcast is the best because of this. He talks about the history, SBO, tournament mentality, Japan, the U.S., just everything. It’s so well rounded.

With all of this though, I don’t think Gootecks is getting enough credit. He organized this to help the players, and look where it’s gone. I think it’s easily one of the best things the community needed right now, if not the best. We can’t thank this guy enough.

now we need to go back ever FURTHER and get a hold of mike watson lol or john choi since alex said they were older than him and better too especially watson…now thats some crazy shit lol

Any chance of Hungbee? I need to donate soon.

i hear you. i’ve been waiting for that interview for so long. i’ll donate at least EDIT $20 for that:nunchuck:

Somewhat related, Ryan took time to post up on http://www.iplaywinner.com on how to balance out your game by embracing both rushdown and turtle styles of play.

Be sure to check it out, and if you like it let us know and we will be sure to do more of these!

good shit…ryan broke it down perfectly on how to practice your weaknesses…ima steal those methods lol
