YOu can’t super jump at the beginning of a match thus making it difficult to guard break, but it can happen with normal jumping and various assists.
“Isnt Sentinel’s dash back in the beginning of the match fast enough to escape a d.lk?”
Trust me, glitched mag d.lk or just a fast d.lk will do it to hit Sentinel. Try it out for yourself with a buddy and see what you can come up with.
depends on the assist… if the assist is fast enough like psylocke maybe… the push block will make a diff. but usually, in my experience, no one used the push block yet… because it’s quite fast and i only use that tactic mostly on sentinel…
sentinel’s back dash as said earlier is fast enough, but if anticipated, magneto will just forward dash to sentinel then lk.lk+assist…
Try it - Magnus dashes with you, your assist comes out where you summoned him, and Magnus still has better priority/recovery than you… you can dash if they don’t expect it and it’s a nice trick, but it’s very much not safe. As mentioned, the only completely safe thing to do is to cower in defensive crouch and hope that you guess right.
Yo, there is no “what if I dash back with assist” He can catch you BEFORE you even dash back. Which means Sentinel trys backdash + assist and gets snaped, assist launched to death Trust me on this one. All mag has to do is c. lk, lk and you’re as good as gone.
JUst listen to Preppy, crouching down block is your safest method, although it isn’t safe.
