hmmmmm i just called my local ebgames and they said they only had 25 keys (and ran out). guess i’ll have to order it online.

One of my friends had to wait only 2 hours. Bullshit man.
I find SC2 a lot more fun than SC1, mostly it boils down to 3 reasons:

Less Micro on mundane stuff. I can shift+click to give a unit multiple orders (i.e. build the assimilitor, then go mine or build the pylon, then to the opponents base) and not have to babysit them, I can also set a waypoint off my base and all created workers mine automatically. But micro is still important in battles and such, just not so much on the boring crap

Each race (sans Zerg) has multiple viable paths to go in any situation. Immortals/Collossus, Void Ray Rush, sentry/templar, its all viable and keeps things more interesting than massing for carriers.

The Maps I find way more conducive to strategy, with the breakables and the layouts and the high yields, its a lot of fun
Got my beta key in my email box about an hour ago. Downloading SC2 now.

This is a Blizzard game not a Capcom game. There’s NO disappointment ever. Blizzard is the only company that I trust 200%. I don’t even need to speculate about their upcoming games cause I know that no matter what they will be good. But when Capcom announces something then I get paranoid. Like right now I’m pretty scared that MVC3 will suck (I also think it will too).
I also played about 100 matches in the SC2 beta using a friend’s account and let me tell ya this game is the game you have been waiting for all these years.
Well, it greatly depends on what you’re expecting.
I’m expecting the game to be fun while being balanced and competitive. Oh and lots of neat little options!
I just got the beta myself… and been playing it for like the past 5 hours straight… and like it was said before, this is a Blizzard game not a Capcom game (Name me a Blizzard game that dissapointed)… This game improves on the original tenfold and every expectation you had waiting for it for the past 10 years is easily met.
I don’t think I’ll be going to sleep tonight, fuck this game is AMAZING!!!
WarCraft III and its expansion were some what of a let down. Even still, I am disappointed in Blizzard as a company to not be able to expand from three franchises which at this point are all more than a decade old. They make solid games for sure, but they aren’t without their flaws.
