It took me less than 5 mins to make an account and get some replays up on the site recommended. It’s so easy, a caveman can do it. Don’t fight it, it’s just easier.
Can you guys review this game and give me some pointers?

Also, as zerg, what units best counter marines and marauders? Should I just mass banelings to counter Terran early bio?
Yes, we really want to see that. The wealth of information available in the replay is WAY more useful than a youtube video. And we can control how we see the action.
wtf, what league are you in? id be surprised if you were anything higher than practice league.
Seeing how much min & gas you have is pointless? oh yeah I dont need to see the life and super meters in street fighter cuz they are pointless
thats funny cause im in gold, so funny to complaining about min and gas cause your not playing the game, your watching a reply:rolleyes: So I really dont know what the point is?
then i guess your just too dumb to figure out why that shit is important. have fun jerkin to vids you captured with a camcorder bought back in 1980.
d(-.-)b back to SC talk now? Okay, could infestors in the beta go UNDER buildings? Is it just me, but it seems silly to have units able to move underground and NOT be able to go UNDER buildings…
Then why bother recording your matches at all? No one wants to see that shit. I bet your only views are from people who first click on your link and then stop watching after 10 seconds once they realize what a bad camera view it is. That’s basically how I feel every time I click on your links. You might as well be recording your match with a cellphone.
I haven’t read anything in this thread but if anyone would like to practice 1v1 I’m down.
I’m in** Diamond** and play Random.

I watched your replay and i have a few suggestions. I would say you lost this game to lack of scouting and lack of reaction to what you saw coming at you. I noticed it your plan was to perform a baneling bust on the terrans front wall. You brought down his front wall but you only had 2 zerglings there and that wouldnt even kill one scv. After you exploded the terrans front wall and his army of marauders was coming you almost had no reaction to it. When the terran was moving into your base you had 3 unused larva and instead if making lings you made drones, that was what probably killed you in the beginning. Spine crawlers drop quickly to marauders without something to distract them. Banelings are not great agaisnt marauders but speedlings are. It takes 4 shots from 1 marauder to kill one ling. Once terran gets a mix of marines and marauders then you use banelings to kill as many marines as you can and then swarm with speedlings, also depending on how far into the game you are a fungal growth from infestors really help.
Also you had the watch towers which is a good thing but it doesnt always give you enough time to react to an incoming force. You should practice sending one ling near the enemies ramp to give you the maximum ammount of time to react to an attack. Also you can use that ling to run up and down the ramp to get a glimpse of what the terran is doing. You can get a peak at his forces and whether he is swapping buildings or if he has tech labs or reactors and what units he has near the ramp. Also on a side note you need to keep injecting with your queen. The whole game you only injected 2 times with her and after she died you didnt make a new one. So just keep practicing on that scouting and work on that queen injection
Thanks for the input!!! I’ve recently started using the Xel’Naga towers, and they are FRIGGING awesome for map reveal… I’ll fight tooth and nails to get that vision now! I agree on sending a couple units by their door step… There have been times when I see an army steaming towards me, and I don’t have enought time to react to it. The baneling bust efforts i’ve been trying all seem to have been failure lately. I don’t see it as an optimistic strategy, but more of an all in strategy that i’m not good at… My baneling play needs to improve. I just hate suicide units, because at times I can repel marines/marauders, but they just come RIGHT back with another army while my army offed itself in the previous battle.
maybe you should watch people race to see who gets more min, oh wait that sounds like a fun idea
Why are you so insistent upon uploading your videos to YouTube? I watched half of the first part of your game and couldn’t watch the rest.
Yah, this. There is a replay function for a reason.
Min/gas production is pretty important. Lets people know if you are spending it well. One of the first things my friend pointed out to me.
Also I should be online the next couple nights, hit me guys
Hope this works better Replays - Starcraft 2 Match Replays and Strategy Videos from SC2Replayed.com only play Zerg and 1v1 most of the time
Just wanted to say that the skills in this game are very perishable. I haven’t played a real match in like 2 weeks and played 2 games tonight and got VR rushed because I screwed up my build order regularly and was missing 5ish Mutas…
The second game he tried to cannon contain on Desert Oasis and got caught… couldn’t capitalize on it though since I only had 6 lings and it takes so long to get to his base…
it ended up being a base race between his 15 or so stalkers and my 3 Ultralisk and a pack of Zerglings. Managed to eek out a win on that one… maybe I’ll spend more time in build order trainer again to stop sucking so much.
Ok so as a heads up, was talking with my brother ThatGuy, and next weekend I am going to organize a simple, training night SRK SC2 tournament. We’re still working out the full kinks, but so far it’s looking like we’re going to do the following:
16 person cap
4 pools of 4
Each person plays everyone else in their pool one game
maps will be pre-determined by organizers
Loser can switch race, winner must stick with the same race
Replays are to be saved and sent to the organizer at the end of your matches
Top person from each pool advances to a finals pool
This finals pool will be the top 4 people, format will be the following:
2/3 games during this round
Everyone plays everyone else once
First map will be pre-determined; after that loser chooses the next map
Loser can switch race, winner must stick with the same race
During the first round of pools, everyone will be playing alongside everyone else at the same time
During the final pool, everyone is encouraged to spectate the final match
Ventrillo will be used to communicate with opponents, or if you don’t have access to a mic then in game chat is available. Still encourage you to listen in even if you can’t talk back. During the final pool play, the competitors will be in a different chat channel as the players (or players will leave vent entirely) as to not spoil the current game.
Replays will be posted, final pool matches will be cast either live or put on youtube after the tournament concludes. Replay pack will be provided for download.
