Would have made a lot more sense then if you had Storm troopers getting their arms pulled out of their sockets, guerrilla warfare in a large city, climbing trees.

Out of the Star Wars saga as we know it, ESB is the best movie in its overall construction. However, I love ROTJ the most. Stakes are the highest for all of the characters, one of the best space battles in cinema to date, and featured the best duel in the series (so far).

Gotta give Richard Marquand credit. He shot one of the best parts of that fight scene with characters dressed in black, on a black and gray set, with very low light. Vader and Lukeā€™s final confrontation is my favorite moment in the series

ESB is only so well loved because of the plot twist and itā€™s the only Star Wars that ends on a downer. It left people hungry.

Doesnā€™t change the fact the story itself was boring, Hoth was boring, Cloud City was boring, and the Vader vs Luke battle is fucking lame as fuck.

Ewoks never bothered me as a kid or adult, never got the hate from just RoTJ. Now say Ewoks cartoon or the TV movies sure why not, but their plight in RoTJ was interesting. The feels when that one Ewok is gunned down and his buddy all shaking him before crying, so adorable and tragic.

Gungans can eat a dick though. Nothing but racial stereotypes fighting off an entire army for no reason. Made the entire Seperatist force seem like a joke from the very beginning.

Also donā€™t get how people were hype about the mass Jedi fight in Clone Wars. Over saturation of Jedi was mind numbing, the lack of focus in those scenes as well was bothersome. Iā€™d rather the Jedi be the myth in the original with a few stragglers then a full on army fighting for reasons that make little sense and can have huge ramifications.

Also Soviet stop hating Empire was damn good. Its cool to have preferences but that film was cinematic perfection and a good middle point to show distress until RoTJ rolled around, no need to hate. RoTJ did have a boss ass space battle though.

Always liked that one banned Looney tunes with the black Hunter trying to get Bugs. Felt bad for the little guy, getting hounded by Bugs racism and canā€™t even fill him with lead. Should at least let him get his comeuppance.
