I had two fully leveled guys (Bounty Hunter and a Sith Mage whatever they were called). They were pretty bad for nerfing shit the moment it got too strong. Bounty Hunters were amazing in Hutt Ball, until they nerfed them into some pussy things.

I still have it installed, with all the expansions and shit, just haven’t gone back to play it in AGES.

I guess this lends credence to the timelessness of Star Wars. It seems to be a bit older than you youngsters think. I remember watching the Ulysses 31 cartoon when I was little, but Star Wars came out well before I was even born.

There are a ton of classic space movies from the early 80s that when you watch them seem so dated. It sometimes isnt immediately apparent that these movies that aged so poorly are actually predated by (and are absolutely derivative of) Star Wars, as is so much else floating around in pop culture.

but Star Wars didnt invent laser swords, it was that Ulysses anime movie or something. actually there has been concepts of light swords and laser swords since before history was recorded.

Star Wars predates Ulysses 31 by a good 5 years.

The origin of the concept is more likely Asimov’s Foundation series or Fritz Leiber’s Gather Darkness, both of which date from the 40’s.

Anybody else enjoying Battlefront? I mean, it’s pretty sparse for a game, but I’m loving it. Needs a bit more variety to prevent it from being dead in a few months, but I’m loving Walker Assault. I’d love a level with two space bases and a big giant empty space between them that forces you to fly to the other space station.
