Multiple reports are saying Rian Johnsonâs trilogy got canned. As for Benioff and Weiss, based on GoT their Star Wars Trilogy will be fine if it is based off existing material. If they have create it from scratchâŚIâd worry.

Honestly, I hope not. RJ may not have been the best choice for the Skywalker saga, but I think heâd have been great in a original story. Looper is one of my favorite time travel sci-fi movies.

John Campea, who was one of the people saying the earlier rumors of cancellation were false, is now saying they are true. Dude seems like an industry shill. So Iâm inclined to believe him
It is hard to overcome a bad first impression. People are more willing to give filmmakers a chance after failure if they nail their first film in a franchise.
This may be a case where a rumor turns true than the execs canning it that early.
Well just saying. By this point I donât believe anything about that until itâs made official. Like I said, itâs something that has been rumored to death over and over again for a whole year and a half only to be disproved by RJ himself. As of now it might be canceled or it might not be. The rumors however donât mean shit by this point.
