I guess most hilts would stop the saber at a point
I find your lack of definitive answers… disturbing.
I like subverting fan expectations to follow my vision of non definitive answers.

in other words, you got Rian’d
Considering Most Jedi Lightsabers automatically shut off when you release them, accidentally or not.
Most Light Sabers have a safety lock (to prevent accidental activation) as well as a release, letting the saber go automatically turns it off.
Some Jedi have the activation switch made internal so only force users can turn the blade on.
Holy shit, guys! Rose Tico action figures on clearance for $1!
zero enthusiasm
I’ve seen some of the newer Titans Returns Legends figures for Transformers at $1. Broadside and Sixshot were going for 70% their MSRP in some locations. That’s just what happens when people don’t buy stuff or have a connection with a certain character.
Kids still buy toys? Like action figures and shit? Because I figured they just play with Legos and video games and phones nowadays…
I definitely see more people excited about legos now than they were many years ago, seeing so many IP based sets instead of all of the generic brands (RIP Pirates, Adventures, Aquazone, Technic, and NINJAS!!) and the fact that many still buy them is proof of this. I still wish there was more generic brands put on shelves than City.
Have two young nephews. They fucking love toys.
lego rock raiders was my jam. i had every set.
Titans Return is also a line that’s ending to make way for Power of the Primes. So it makes sense they would be seen recently discounted. Titans Return line has been around for over a year now though. Last Jedi figures have been out, what, 3 months? And they’re already on clearance.
Also Broadside & sixshot have 100x more fan connection than Rose with SW.

kids still love buying toys.
I used to work at a Toys R Us. Toys are still in high demand. My nephew asks me to buy him toys all the time
But we’ve seen characters throw their sabers like projectile weapons, and they didn’t shut off. And we’ve seen non-force users like Han and Finn use Lightsabers.
Also Kylo Ren himself finally chimes in on Last Jedi:

And those sabers probability have a lock on the activation panel or a safety override of some sort,
Individual Jedi and Sith make their own sabers custom to their own needs.
Its in both current canon and legacy materials that a Lightsaber usually deactivates when it’s released, there a activation plate, switch or button that must be held for it to work.
Also it wouldn’t be too hard for a Jedi to hold the actuation switch with the force as they threw them.
Also Han and Finn using Anakin Skywalker is feasible as Anakin has a normal external switch for his Saber.
Note they both used the same Lightsaber before.
