People are concerned with her being chubby? I thought she was kinda adorable actually. In that cute, chubby girl sense.
I was MUCH more concerned with her character being shitty and kinda throwing a wrench in things. It seemed like every time she was on-screen, things ground to a halt. The only good thing to come out of her character was saving Finn from himself. For that i’m grateful, otherwise, she can go the way of JarJar in the next movie.
The character isn’t terrible, but her motivations, dialogue, and interactions with everyone are flat, forced, and clobber you upside the head with whomever’s far-left agenda, making whatever charm she could have had evaporate into the apparently non-existent vacuum of Star Wars’ space.
Rogue One with John Williams music that i mentioned before.
decided to upload the intro.
2 seconds later, blocked by Disney. its cool. it’ll lift later. like in a month.
or just click the YOUTUBE icon on the video. watch it on youtube if it works for you. idk. cuz i cant see the vid on srk but i can in youtube but im logged into my own account so idk about yall.
lets try Vimeo…just to hope copyright claiming doesnt kick in…
hm. seems to work.
vimeo is the rebel alliance of video streaming. at least for now. i’ll check later to see if its still not blocked.
Yeah that was really on the nose. Poor story telling. You show these things and let the audience pick up on it. You don’t show it and have a character also give an expository speech about it.
And the hate train continues with no stop in sight. Nothing but youtube hate videos in my newsfeed lol.
Also…who the hell is katheleen Kennedy? I don’t know who this person is but, the way i keep hearing her name brought up in these hate videos, the more she sounds like Disney’s version of Amy Pascal (Think: Sony and 2016 Ghostbusters). And THAT is just TERRIFYING to imagine.
It was really obvious. I don’t look for that stuff in my entertainment, but they way they just bop the audience over the head with that shit was so obvious and forced, my eyes started instinctively rolling.
It took me completely out of the movie for a second.
If you don’t want something in the canon…just pretend it isn’t and there you go. At the very least, it’s much easier to do when it comes to sequels as you can ignore anything after a certain point.
