Wasn’t he always described as having been an orphan taken in by the Mandalorians? The term foundling didn’t exist then but still
he was considered what is called a foundling in a story that was deemed legends that got the retcon treatment along with a name drop from the armor log.

Is it just me or does ol din always get made to look lesser than whoever is lead costar in an episode? Din only looked good in the prison episode and escaping from the kraut dragon scene from s2.
Boba Fatt really looked top notch for being old and noticably too fat for the Fett armor. I kind of wanted to laugh.He looked like a legit badass with the tusken staff and attire though.

I’m ready for whatever deep lore pull is next. Kyle Katarn? Mara Jade? More Jedi history from KOTOR?
Were never seeing a Mara Jade. She’s a worst Mary Sue than Rey ever be accused of.
People only liked her as she a love interest for Luke.

How do you make a replacement trilogy with 1) dead actress 2) an actor they were lucky to get back for the force awakens and 3) an actor who feels his time portraying luke is over?
Just ignore them and pretend they didn’t happen. The OT timeline ends wherever the mandalorian ends.
The best way to make a sequel series is to time jump way into the future or jump way back in the past.
Or explore side character’s in the ptot timeline. Ala Solo.
