No I don’t think Sasha’s Sabine, since after the Rebels series finale she should still be with Ashoka searching for Ezra.
I think this and The Mandalorian “should” cover why Luke and Ashoka never met during the OG trilogy!
I don’t know what to think anymore. You’re right she should be with ahsoka but how does Bokatan know where ahsoka is? Could be ahsoka and sabine gave up and sabine became a nite owl like her mother. 
Bokatan and Ashoka were allies during the final season of Clone Wars and Rebels, since they both played a major part of the Siege of Manadlore
So I take it Bo Katan still keeps tabs Ashoka for Jedi backup.
Also I doubt Ashoka and Sabine gave up looking for Erza. The epilogue of Rebels takes place after ROTJ, and The Mandalorian show is set 5 years after ROTJ.

Summary
She is a big Star Wars fan too so getting to play this character both voice acting and in love action probably was a dream come true. Hope she comes back and not just to get Worf’d.

The egg thing, yeah The Child is a monster but knowing Star Wars because he is popular I await his redemption turn where he dies in anti climatic fashion.
He probably only see the eggs as food, and as they are unfertile there nothing that tells the child that they are babies to sentient life forms.
