True but Ashoka is one of those species where paying someone to make it and the time needed to apply it may make CGI more viable especially if they want the actress to do more then just talking.

Yes but clones are supposed to age twice as fast. I always felt it was a stretch Rex made it to the battle of endor.

Debated about whether I should post this because its about RoS but I decided it was worth discussion. Just because Lucasfilm is owned by Disney doesnât excuse them operating like a Mickey Mouse operation. Rewrites are common place but not to this level. WTF man.

Eh, it is fitting given EVERYTHING promising that JJ Abrams makes winds up with a disappointing ending. Man has a great team and cool ideas but can never stick the landing. I would hope that future projects donât take such a haphazard approach and have a basic path and a ending in mind from the jump.

That because he only asks questions. He never answers them. Asking questions is fucking easy. He leaves the hard part of answering them up to someone else.
Heâs a hella over rated writer. Heâs not very good. Anyone can sit around and ask a bunch of interesting questions. Coming up with interesting answers to those questions is a different matter.

I think the best example of JJâs writing style done correctly is Babylon 5. Straczynski recorded answers to some of his âmystery boxâ questions in unreleased footage from season 1 and as soon as one of these questions was answered he pivoted to the next mystery box. It is the only example I can think of it actually working.

The final battle with Darth Sidious, Rey, and Kylo should have been more. If Darth Sidious would have been in an epic light saber duel with either Kylo or Rey or both like he had in Episode II and Episode III then it would have been epic!
Also, how do we know whether or not the Darth Sidious from Episode VI is a clone?

He was a clone.
Thereâs no way that was a âcorpse attached for 30 yearsâ.
- he vaporised on death star 2 when Vader yeeted him into that shaft.
- death star 2 exploded further vaporizing any palpy steaks laying around from exploding in the vent.
- The novelization of ros makes mention of palps being a clone. And Reyâs dad being a nonforce sensitive clone.

And Palpatine is all about the weird life and death manipulation potions of the darkside.

Except we never saw that happen, we saw a explosion and thats it. Huge as chucks of the Death Star surivived both in Legends and new Canon. New Canon just have the Death Star Chucks in the ocean instead of ontop of the Ewok village.
Meh, implications in soft sci fi sucks as they are meaningless, especially the soft scifi that also includes FUCKING MAGIC in the mix.
