Watching Rebels Ezra waxes storm troopers left and right but feels conflicted bout killing an inquisitor. He he even forced controlled a trooper to kill his buddies then themself. Bitch what? Ice that fucking dude and move on.
Goons and mooks are easy fodder, but when you got to take out a personality or a face then folk have issues because it has gotten to real that the character has ended someone or something alive.
Absolutly. There is a reason Stormtroopers wear a uniform with a full face helmetâŚi mean there are multiple reasons but that is one of them. No one feels bad for a dude who looks exactly like 1,000 other dudes. Literally replaceable and no one would notice.
The problem with the guyâs premise is that it kinda ignores whatâs driving the decision making: family relations. Every other character in the movies tried to kill both Vader, Palpatine and Kylo at one point or another.
Those who didnât were having story situations involving their counterparts in the drama.
Also a not point has Star Wars made any moral issue about killing. The Jedis were definitely gonna punk you; they just werenât going to do it impulsively or for reasons that would expose them to the dark side.
I mean, you could make that interpretation about Star Wars. But that is a hilariously front loaded Marxist argument that is deflated hilariously quick when take into account actual scenes in the movies.
Iâm trying to find that comic that depicts one stromtrooper from recruitment to death. He goes through a harsh training and in the end is the trooper blasted by Leia in Episode 4 just before another trooper stuns her.
It wasnât a necessary story tell but one that reminds us that some troopers while nameless and faceless did have a life prior to the Empire.
Yes I remember that comic. If I remember correctly his story was fucked. Son of a poor farmer whoâs planet was taken over by the empire, growing up under the hardships of that, his father killed by the empire and joining them to get off his planet. All the bad shit he had to do as a stormtrooper. His ending thoughts about how he was ready to finish his service term and dip out then he saw leia, found her attractive then everything getting colder after she shot him.
So apparently Robert Meyer Burnett got his hands on Colin Trevorrowâs IX script. His movie was Episode IX Duel of the Fates. Iâll let you all be the judge. From what Iâve seen, this video is too damned long IMO, it seems like a better film.
He doesnât specify a time jump but based on events it has to be at least 3 or 4 years. For the First Order literally control the galaxy and have new structures built on Coruscant. It couldnât have been the mere year jump from RoS. I wish he just put whole damned script out. Details from the second half of it seem a bit light.
Gonna read lone wolf and cub now. Always wanted to, and Mando was more or less exactly how I imagine LWaC plays out.
Edit: Mando also did two very minor things that completely blew my mind
Summary
The way that Gideonâs TIE fighter lands had me flipping out, but it makes sense. How the hell are you supposed to get down from a 15â cockpit? Neat little detail for landing in all terrain.
2nd thing: R2 units with arms and legs. Again blew my mind, but made sense for the function of the droid
Gonna try it after it downloads to see how it plays. I get people love MK games but holy shit are they awful fighting games for the most part. He did run into a problem a SW games would potentially have, all lightsabers, all the time.
