Very short, but still kind of fun. Like the previous DLC (The Jedi Trials), it’s quite challenging at times. I enjoyed it, and the fact that they did it at all is a cool bonus, to me.
It’s pricey however, so I can definitely see only a small handful ponying up $9.99 for it, as it’s not that long. It’s really just a single stage.
As Geese stated, it seems like a better bargain to just pick up the Ultimate Sith Addition, once it arrives later in the year. Amazon currently has it listed for a Pre-Order price of $36.99. It includes all the previous DLC, the newly released Tatooine DLC, and an exclusive mission (that follows the Tatooine DLC). It’s dated for November 3, 2009.
Just played through the Tatooine DLC, very fun but too short.
I hope the mission in the Ultimate Sith Edition is eventually available as DLC though… I really don’t wanna pony up another $40 for it and I don’t want to miss out on it either.
PS3 version of Star Wars: TFU got updated with trophies now…unfortunately not retroactive.
I’d have to delete my current save, and start a new save to get the trophies.
But yea PC release means Custom Content. Skins, Missions, mods. It’s gonna be sweet. Sweetness out the Ying Yang.
I mean, you can pretty much play as damn near everyone of any important already, but they are just skins. Actually altering how each character could play hasn’t been done yet.
I’ll be waiting for the Ultimate Sith edition to come out. The Hoth level won’t be out for DLC, so might as well get it as it comes with the Tattoonie level and the Corusant level.
I love this game. In spite its many flaws (and some of them are big), its one of the few games that captures a wide array of Force related abilities, that replicates them in a Star Wars environment, in an action title to date. And it looks really, really good. Even a year or so later, it has better character models, lighting, and sound effects to go along with them than most games out now.
Which brings me to games like [Prototype]. Very fun to play, looks like a first gen Xbox title, from a third party developer with no Dev Kit.
I mean, I’m not a graphics hog, but c’mon now.
I’m hoping the PC release (and hell, the USE Console ones too) fix some of the games major gripes, like the numerous sound, and clipping glitches. Those things suck.
Well after I finish my DMC binge, I’ll run through this…again. I just wish you could at tleast start off with what you have on a new save
It was decent. The story was the better component. The game would have been a lot better with a more solid targeting system. After playing other extreme combat games, it felt subpar without it
Hoth Gameplay. Looks good, but man. I just know its gonna be very, very short. And here I am about to buy TFU AGAIN, just for it (and that sweet ass costume).
I just traded in my TFU for the preorder on this before the trade in price drops. Since the Ultimate Sith Edition is only 40$ I ended up paying a difference equal to what the dlc would be. Not that bad.
