Well I just figured out how to reliably do a standing 720 by doing a 540 and drumming punch and was all, “Oh man, I gotta get on SRK pronto to let everyone know!” And I get here, and, basically I have no thunder.
Feels pretty sweet though, doing a standing 720.
So what’s the deal with walk Gigas then? I take it you don’t mean partitioning or dashing.
I did a standing gigas with the pad yesterday. I don’t know exactly how, it was supposed to be a 360 
But it encouraged me to get better at my Giga’in, and I’ve gotten really good at doing tick-Gigas. Do a standing lk, and during that animation, go from forward, swing down and around to forward, then slowly go from forward to back until the hitstun finishes and hit punch. I mean, I can’t do dash -> gigas everytime.
Walk gigas is partitioned gigas. Do one motion, end at forward, walk, do 270 + P for gigas.
can you explain this method with actual correct timing & inputs (:d: :r:).

there’s another way of doing 360, by inputting just the 4 directions and press punch.
U can make use of this property in tachi by doing 3 directions other than 8, then spin a 360 starting from direction 8 and get a tachi 720.
But personally i still prefer spinning the stick real fast twice.
Just do a 270 and end at the direction you want to walk. Then do another 270 for Gigas.
Example: make them block a clap or whatever, and during the move do :u::ub::hcf:, walk a bit, :hcb::ub::u:+:p: for Gigas.

Performed my first “Walk Partition 720” today. :tup:
Its so easy, that’s why I love it. Last night some Dudley missed a jet uppercut online, and I was able to jab, walk up and 720 him when he hit the ground, it was fucking awesome! I’m sure he thought I was cheating or something, I heard him say something on my speakers. 
My Hugo still isn’t that great though, I gotta watch some more Hayao videos.

Haha, I wrote walk-in Gigas for a reason. I doubt its possible to do standing gigas with no partition on a pad. I did do it once by accident once, but I think Hugo was changing direction when I hit up or something, all I know is that I suddenly did it once instead of a 360. But yeah, I’m doing partitions.
I got vid som were (have to find it) hugo is just walking backwards and does a 720. i don’t think their was any kind of partition to it but i’d have to watch it again.

I think it’s what the japanese call it? I dunno.
