I am calling bullshit on Shadowless. I have been playing you at CE for a few months now and you have been kicking my ass with Guile. There is no way you can say you “just picked up,” Street Fighter.

It’s true - it’s not like I’ve never seen the game, or something. I’ve watched match videos and stuff, too, even if I didn’t get everything that was going on.

ALSO: You guys should play Cave Story if you like that kind of game.

Good games in VF Mr. Beasley. I learned quite a bit from you believe it or not. I’m definitely sticking with Goh for a long while.
Thanks again for having us over yesterday. Actually, I learned a lot just from all those times I lost to you. One day my name will be feared in the brackets as yours. And yes, Mandel, I did have fun at times playing ST.
So I decided that I am going to try to learn one of the Shoto’s or maybe Sim, and make claw my second. Claw is a lot of fun to play (for me at least), but I think I would rather get good with a character who I can learn to play a little more in depth. I might try using Sagat, or Ryu.
Ryu seems like he has a little more to him, while Sagat seems like a spam characters, which isn’t quite my thing.

I am showing up at about 7:30. I am poor when it comes to fighting game equipment, so I can pretty much bring a Gamecube controller if anyone wants to play smash. But I can bring some drinks or something else if anyone has any requests. I am thinking rootbeer since I seem to have a fix for it lately.

btw if anyone is still coming, please bring 2 wii motes, so we can do 4 person mario kart!
This will be a hardcore ST gaming session at my house this week before NWM.
Hardcore asshole mode only. Expect the following:
- Losing 20 games in a row
- Being mercilessly tick thrown to death repeatedly.
- Wall dives over and over again.
- Being stuck in the corner with no way out.
- Uncounterable ticks from Balrog/Dhalsim that aren’t fair that you can’t do anything about.
- Not having fun, and instead be angry and frustrated.
Come prepared to get destroyed, and rise from the ashes of your former scrub self a true soldier with one mission: Demolish anything in your path.
Note that I don’t have a dreamcast or sticks. So this will be on cabinet unless someone wants to bring a DC + sticks (which I recommend). I also only have an HDTV, so there may be HD lag unless someone brings a CRT.
I’ll bring a DC and a ghetto stick/converter. Bring sticks if you want to practice on the tournament version. If you don’t bring stuff, don’t complain. Someone should bring an NTSC 4:3 TV. I’ll bring my LCD, but it’s a poor backup at best.
Where have you been Keith?! I will go, not for ST, but to be graced by your presence. Yes, I am serious.
