there are no differences in the version of arcade st to my knowledge other than the fact that we have some swapped names and world and us version st turbo 3 is equivelant to jap turbo 2
Japanese ST doesn’t have it,and Zangief’s :u:+Fierce is guaranteed dizzy(Good, since the move rarely hits anyway.).
For some weird reason, I feel like some combos are easier to do in the Japanese version…
But probably it’s just me.

Rushed, can we think about switching the emulator to Mame 32k .90? For ST it is hands-down the better emu as far as lag and desynching and everyone can easily run over to darktemplarz to download it.
I have to bow out of the May 20th tourney because my internet connection has been acting really flaky recently, especially during the evening hours. I’ll have to call my ISP to investigate my internet line.

Hmm, I downloaded .90 and I noticed it didn’t come with a roms folder so I created one, then put all my roms in there and everytime i press F5 in the program it fails to find my games. Anyone know how to fix this or if I’m doing something wrong?

Go to Options > Directories and insert it manually. This is a repackaged distribution so the current settings are different.
Try this:
Open MAME32k 0.90
Go to Options > Directories
Select “ROM” from the drop-down menu
Click the “Browse” button and point it to your roms folder that you created and put all your roms into.
Hit OK and then audit your roms, and they should show up.
