The problem unfortunately is that there’s plenty of people that see the game that way. On the surface…it really isn’t much more than that and unless you really understand or care to understand SF…HD Remix is just another remake of the same shit they’ve seen before.

Bad games to 2D Nostalgia. I played this guy as Chun vs his Dee Jay, and I did what you’re SUPPOSED to do in that match - get the hell away and fireball till you get a super. So, he bitched at me about running away. So, round two, I rush him the fuck down, and I beat him even worse! So he’s all “You’re a cheap ass motherfucker, I’m outta here fruit!” Cool. Come back when you don’t suck, I guess.
I can only imagine what he’d say getting corner loop’d in ST, where Hawk doesn’t have a whiff animation.

That’s cool and all but I don’t think this is really the thread for that, lest it be filled with those posts, try to be just on topic maybe (no offense, and not to be thread-police here… though I guess I am).
Now I know it’s your thread and all, but no offense, those don’t really sound like legitmate reasons to cite someone for a BG.
I mean, citing someone for disconnecting and then deriding their scrubby tactics, additionally, when you’ve called them out on the d/c is one thing, but you can’t really call someone out legitimately everytime they play crappy or lame. If they were, then it should be no problem to just whoop there ass and move on right, teach them a lesson. Anyway I believe Spooky Whiteboy already said it best:
So specifically, the Ken guy, well that shouldn’t be problematic to deal with and for Chun Li, hell, I consider that half the point of those types of moves, I spam lightning legs whenever I can on knockdown blockers for the extra damage, play to win. I don’t think people would be begruding T.Hawk for stormhammering in the corner repeatedly or Honda for hundred handslapping in the corner (well, not as much this game as the earlier ones where he could move with it), so just because Chun-Li is more versatile then those characters that doesn[t mean it’s not smart to take advantage of the move. I mean, if that’s all they know how to do it shouldn’t be too hard preventing the opportunity or beating the rest of their game right so I don’t really see the issue there.
Of a personal note, if anyone played me last night (or in general) when I was playing DGV a lot I kept getting d/c’d by the service from the match before it would start (like 3 or 4 times in a row) everytime I made my way up the rung for next to play in the room, extremely frustrating (never during or after matches though, so shouldn’t have caused any problems beyond repeated annoyance… mostly for me). Anyway, just saying that wasn’t me running or anything, I’d rather get my ass whooped by DGV all night with some small chances of victory then to be winning all night against less skilled people, 'cause that way I’d be learning something. Or learning more/faster anyway, I should say.

It’s not really that, it’s just that they had no concept of how to play the game. They get BG’s for being no competition whatsoever. The reason I do that is a forewarning to others on here that if they see that name, playing those characters, that they aren’t going to be playing anyone who knows what they’re doing.
That’s basically saying you’re trashing them for sucking. If they didn’t disconnect, or trash talk to you, I don’t see the issue. Who knows maybe even their baby brother was playing, but as long as the game was clean I don’t see the issue.
I mean, maybe you whooping their asses will have teached them that that crap won’t work in the future and they need to play better, it seems unfair to tarnish them just for being “total n00bs”, I mean, if they just stood their doing lightning legs all round getting knocked down, in one spot, not even bothering to try, if that’s what you meant, I guess I could see your annoyance, but I’d probably just make them an avoided player. I’m just saying I don’t see the reason to call them out publicly as long as they’re playing clean no matter how much they suck, easier to just make them avoided and move on anyway.
And BG to TopGunna183, d/c after I started whooping his ass.
We were playing a ranked Remixed match (between 12:30 to 1:00 a.m. EST), I was using Chun-Li, he was using Sagat, I was trying to toy with him/gage his reactions a little too sloppily in the first round and we got a double KO, so later on I started laying into his ass untarnished and he all of a sudden drops still for 2 seconds before d/c when I was about to KO him. Afterwards we had this exchange:

& then it was blockity-block-block

What is no comp for you might be good comp for someone else. Not everyone is at your skill level.
This is why being sucky is no reason to hang a BG on someone to me.

Bad experiences, Dropping (cutting the connection), cheap play, gay ass tactics all need to be mentioned here…
I have had 4 people drop on me in this game so far i think there should be a bad games thread aswell, im surprised no1 has made this thread since you can get some annoying fuckers to play with who should be mentioned here so that they can be avoided at all costs!
PS: If the moderators think this is a bad idea they can delete this thread by all means.

Anyway, to the guy who had problems with Ken Dizz, if I’m not mistaken, that was the guy who was having the “Same stuff as on Sega Saturn” tirade. I could be wrong though. He had dizz in his name at least though, I can be certain about that.
