fun games last night with Cigargirl and Rekkaken (fun games indeed!)
Good games, Moocus. Was an honor to play you finally.
GGs yesterday papercut. Get dat jab button fixed and stop with that Deejay nonsense.
Fucking hate turbo 1 still
And your Deejay was actually not bad at all. Thanks for letting me punish your super like 10 times
Jab is fixed. Ggs trooper. And thanks for letting me win. Smiley.
Was it a worn down button or a QD problem?
The button flew out of the socket. I had to swap buttons with LT to X. Every time i pushed it too hard or neg edge, the button would fly out. -_-`
heres my stick. No lie.
the prongs on the snap in buttons are all broke so they come out if you move the stick and the wires hold them in lol. far right buttons arent wired and neither is the coin. My daiagnols are pretty shot to so I have to manhandle the stick to get complete circles. I think its dying lol.
I just noticed your button layout seems to be tilted moreso than the regular layout. Do you place your right hand at an angle when you play?
Truly that looks just like playing games in the arcade room
It’s like you tried to give ST hawk a throw wiff!
I guess the Koreans need “more powerful game” to handle Mexican sensibilities.
Saulabi arcade sticks are pretty much only used in Korea (which includes proprietary stick, buttons, button layout, and engrish). Some people like Frijoles like them. I hear they aren’t half bad, especially the tougher joystick action (compared to the loose Sanwa JLF).

Interesting ad, looks like it was made in the 80s.
I can relate to wanting to use a stick with stiffer spring action than the JLFs, it took me a LONG time to adapt, and I still get execution errors at times. But I’m loving the Wico360s bat tops, its an awesome arcade stick, too bad its so rare to find one.
I love the solid base of the saulabi, its about as close to playing on an arcade cabinet as you can get. I find the placement of the start and select button to be too close to the primary buttons though, and the angle is pretty unusual to me.
I’m still looking for something to tighten up the JLF. I tried that Seimitsu spring mod and all it did was make the action mushy.
Is that the one where you just stretch the spring out? Yeah it has mixed results, because of the fact that you’re stretching spring metal, you’re never 100% sure how it’s going to feel afterwards. I know some people who have had success with it, but the only surefire way of getting a stiffer spring is to simply buy a stiffer spring from Seimitsu. The spring mod, imo, is more of a “well, might as well try the free mod before I spend money to fix the problem” kind of situation.
The one I tried was a seimitsu spring on top of the standard JLF spring. Probably should’ve just tried the seimitsu alone.
Thanks to Cronocopio, Fernando and Guillermo, from Argentina, for an offline ST gathering. Amazing guys. I am in your debt.
Metal Mask Logo!? its a must buy!
Gonna be a regular thing by chance?
