Re: Ohnuki Vids?
I play for fun and competetively, I like Chun-li so I use her
but I also use Old Sagat,M Bison
I recently saw some Japanese vids where Ken beat Sim,Guile and Deejay but Ken isn’t top-tier either

then that sim and guile must be too bad…
lighting kick sucks
Dont bother using the lighting kick as an anti-air it is super punishable. For example, any ken player has a fat priority with a forward or roundhouse jump in and a ryu player can f. Strong in air to a juggle.
lighting kick sucks
duh, u dumbass!
big thanks to reza-0 and norm for not fagging up the thread
chun is great to play in ST and it’s not just all about hitting mp… in fact that’s a good way to get an ass kicking in a match
learn low forward… learn everything about it it’s range, what it beats, you will need low forward all the time
learn when to fireball… learn exactly how far they go and how fast so you can decide exactly which one to use…
dont use the flip kick… god it’s the worst piece of shit ever … lol
if some of this was already covered…whoops (makes cute face)

Since everyone’s been talking about N.Chun, I gotta ask if there’s any real reason to use O.Chun? All I remember is that spinning bird kick hits on the way up (I guess you can use it as antiair?), and that the aerial one can be done off head stomps… and her flip kicks with Forward and Roundhouse are done like throws… and I don’t recall any of those changes being useful. Is there a reason to use O.Chun?
You use Old Chun so you can spaz low forward without risking getting useless-kick.
Only reason, I think.
I think Dasrik is getting so old he is beginning to suffer from CRS syndrome (can’t remember shit) yeah about old chun I remember dasrik himself mentioning that he sometimes used her because he sometimes mistakenly gets the awful flip kick instead of c. rh depending on where you hold the stick… being old chun prevents this from ever happening

OK, I can see the DF+MK being useless, it floats back and all… but I think the neck breaker (DF+RH) has many uses.
1)On block, gives tons of frame advantage
2)Can Cross Up or be ambiguous
3)Can be a useful overhead attack during post close S. Strong mixup. I.e. Close Stand Strong-> Low Rh/Throw/Neck Breaker.
Am I wrong on this one? AT final Round, Buktooth did this move on me 4 times in a row and I couldn’t block it. Tried every way possible. It was so embarrassing. Oh well.
Almost every blocked attack in the game gives frame advantage.
WEll, enough frame advantage that you can certainly do
1)stand strong (followed by whatever)
2)Sweep
3)Throw
And the only thing they can do is reversal the throw.
