Please note: renda cancel is only applicable to Jabs and Shorts. With Dictator, doing [st.Short, cr.Forward] is just a normal link. There’s no canceling involved.

Have there been made any specific videos that focus on the different types of cancelling and their uses/advantages?
It would be great to have such a video as it would shed some more light on ST’s game engine and you can get a better impression of cancelling in general.
This really sounds like something I should look further into
