Perhaps the people who are playing him are slow. It’s the person that makes a character fast, not the character though it helps.
You also got to understand that we are looking at this in 3D, in alpha Guy was fast but every alpha incarnation on SFIV characters was also a lot faster so to be honest he is fast for this game at least.
How safe is short tatsu? I imagine that Chun super can punish it, but what about jabs/dps?
Oh shit I remember that combo, at first I thought wow this was new but actually it’s not. When I was maining him years ago I did this combo, it’s ripped form the Final Fight games where you could attack a baddie a nd in mid combo throw them. It’s an option you hit lp, mp, hp then I THINK back and one or both kicks or something and he throws them. You can go back in Alpha 3 and do this.

sorry but im alittle confused on your explanation of how hayagake(run) works , so your saying the strength of the kick you start with doesnt determine what you end with (stop,slide or overhead) like fuerte or that all can just be canceled by stop ?
Is overhead off run -neg on non counter hit, also did it get stuffed alot ?

qcf+hk,lk gives you run stop. It’s the second input that determines the finisher.
Man I dig his combo’ s now its going to feel even longer waiting on this dam game.

yea you pretty much got it… it doesn’t matter what you start the run with… short, forward, or rh. if you press short…you’ll get his stop…forward for slide…and rh for overhead.
which is great because it wasn’t like that alpha… once you hit qcf rh… you were stuck with the overhead.
