really nice posts man. the sagat vs guy one… he went to town on him. and the birdie vs guy one… the first round… guy was just straight angry.

sigh… you are right though… i think sf4’s biggest flaw is it’s reversal windows… they’re gigantic and all over the place… making block strings pretty non existent in the game. it makes mashing out reversals too easy for scrubs and rewards them for not actually playing with real skill.

Hopefully key normals like c.jab, s/c.mp, c.lk or maybe even c.mk dont leave him at frame disadvantage on block. A couple of good, fast +2-4 on block normal would be sweetness. Double sweetness if its cancelable.

I still think EX shoulder might be one of the craziest EX moves in the game. That thing goes through fireballs and is damn near instant from half screen away (and lets you juggle in the corner, even without more EX). And it’ll be safe on block, most likely. How’s that for a pressure move that people need to be scared of at any time? Punish a whiffed shoto low forward on reaction?

I want to main guy and have played with him in a3 to get a feel of how plays but i want to play some one on street fighter who plays similar how he plays because a3 is a different game to sf4 so i thought that doing this might be better.
I currently play ryu any suggestions who i should play. Thanks in advance

Has anyone confirmed that you can juggle U1 in the corner?

You could hit confirm cr lp, cr lp, st mp xx EX shoulder juggle ultra in or near the corner. As fast as EX shoulder is, I highly doubt that it won’t combo from st mp.

Alternately, you could force a blockstring with EX shoulder, and U2 them if EX shoulder recovers quickly enough. U2 has pretty crazy range, so thismight be viable.
