I really think that SF4 weeded out the kids who couldn’t take losing. I used to get tonnes of hatemail in vanilla now all I’m getting is gg, good game, GREAT MATCH, and even one guy who said “lmao rape” after I literally raped his Ken with my Ibuki.
What the fuck is going on here? I used to love the hate mail. I fed off it. I literally hoped for more rage messages from whiny losers whenever I beat them. Christ, do I need to go back to playing Sagat just to get it? Never realized how much more fun it made the game until now…

Sending messages is a waste though unless it’s GG or otherwise positive. I tried to teach someone I know by example to not jHK cHK every 5 seconds by punishing it or playing sarcastically and it didn’t take. Got this gem the other day though:
“U only won cuz you play cammy and no one knows the match up”
“No. I won because you play an average at best RyeU and EVERYONE knows the match up.”
Although against GOOD Ryu players… I’m screwed. :sad:

Been lurking for a while but this thread made me laugh enough to sign up. 
I’ve been kicked out of a few Endless lobbies so far, which is damned annoying (though made a new friend with a solid Abel in the process who also got kicked), but otherwise have been lucky enough to only have 'gg’s so far, though I did get a message off a Russian dude who couldn’t deal with Gen, saying:
“You fight not like man! Are you girl? What is your name?!”
I was afraid to answer…

Rage quitting actually makes the other person rage more.
I got “u r the most boring fighter iv seen on here so far what a joke” after beating someone in ranked twice today, I replied with “<3 love you too”, and then he asked me how to rank up. I don’t think he understood my sarcasm.
no hate mail yet, just a few “it was entertaining to watch you wreck me” messages

Didn’t get any messages, but I got two guys to rage-quit in a row during endless. Funny as hell.
I’ve been playing just as Makoto to try and move in a different direction. Nothing particularly great but I’m slowly learning, I’m around 45% win ratio from 300 or so matches, with about 3000 or so useless e-peen points for her. I’ve had no whiney messages when I’ve won, just GGs, etc. Though I did just lose to a Rog and got something along the lines of “You must play all day to have so many points with such a bad Makoto”.
Looks like I need to learn the match-up.
I’ll never understand the bad winner mindset.
