I join a friend’s endless battle, and a match is currently in progress (i’m like 5th~6th… something like that). And i’m the type of guy who likes to hype up fights as they are happening. So if someone gets thrown expect me to yell out “Tostitos/Scoops/make random spine snapping noises/etc…” So when I get to play I fight against a Gen (whom I later found out was using turbo). He was hitting me with a couple of hands combos and i was like man he’s really good at connecting those. Either way I destroy him and his friends with my Akuma (who i know is too good to be fighting with online warriors like this guy). So I switch it up and use Ibuki. Apparently everyone in the room took offense to me trying to make their dry ass matches a little more entertaining, and after stomping everyone with both Mr. Beat down, and the Kunoichi herself, I was kicked from the room and taken off of my “friend’s” friend’s list. then i watched the replay only to find out half of them are using turbo and mashing through my strings, which I rarely ever drop.
“Throw more” or something to that extent is what I get mostly, playing Abel. Sometimes Dudley, but I’ve been trained to tech so much against good players, it’s not my goddamn fault you don’t.
Wish I had cool interesting stories like you guys, lol.
on PSN i was using basic vega/claw crossups to see how much hatemail i would get
i ended up only getting one ragequitter, and after he quit i sent him a message saying: "come on, vega isn’t THAT bad"
he then replies: “i’m just sick of vega”
other than that, i’ve been sending and receiving the usual GG’s, as well as “you play [character] real well man”
Apparently the shit to do with Adon is blocked HK jaguar tooth into blocked uppercut. That’s the go-to BnB right there.
I don’t know where all these Adons are coming from, I’ve fought two (and one of them was from here). I only get Cody. After literally five consecutive Codys, I’ve made it my life’s mission to style on every Cody I find online.
As for the subject at hand, I don’t get any messages unless I send one first, and considering I’m all about saying “gg” and “good whoever,” I don’t get hatemail. Maybe I’m just not good/spammy/boring enough…

I’ve only gotten positive messages/responses, as well. As a rule, if a match was really hot and the replay is worth saving I’ll usually send the other guy a note to say gg.

I was in a ranked match today against a guy player, within a couple seconds of the match I had him dizzied and he quit. I sent him a message with ??? as the title and he replied with “I rage quit, I suck, I’m getting a refund, QQ”. Was not expecting that.

Today for the first time after deciding to try to main Ibuki I made a lobby instead of joining one, all I got were people with 4 times or more my PP, what’s the point? So I sent a guy “search>same skill>gg”, I guess that qualifies as ragemail. Feel free to ask me if I’m mad.
Other than that, only gg’s today…was a slow day.
I just got a message from a Bison I played online.
First he asked if I was Asian, because he said my play style was very different from other players. After I told him I wasn’t and asked if it was a good or bad thing my play style was different he said good, because he wasn’t able to anticipate my moves like every one else.
That’s pretty much the best message I have ever got. Others have been people calling me a *** because of lag and such. :xeye:
I got one he wrote “Turtle more scrub bitch” and another person wrote “stop doing the same moves and corner fighting that doesn’t take any skill learn 2 play”
i got my favorite one ever last night actually… its better than any of the bitching about losing ones or the ones where they ragequit and then send hate messages after THEY ragequit… okay, after a close match (mostly due to lag… he wasn’t all that great but he knew his character well enough to make it close with a few random uppercuts at times):

Had a bad Chun-Li player just jump at me the entire game so I beat him with almost nothing but tiger uppercuts lol. He then sends me a message saying “You are a cowardly bitch. Why dont you fight me?” I responded with “I did, and I won, try jumping less next time.” Did not hear back from him lawlz.
