5-7 then I may have been exaggerating. Cross up tatsu sweep on guile 5-6 times in a row doesn’t finish him off nor does it stun him, and I’ve done it before too. I’ve had many matches where i’ll take off 80% of my opponents health in like 20-25ish seconds and still not get stun and this is w/o Ultra or super.

I mean, yeah akuma is still a beast and he’s got godly mixups and also a godlike defense (with teleport, air fb and srk) but his stun got SERIOUSLY nerfed.
At the moment with akuma whenever you stun someone he’d have been dead anyways most of the times.
so the new AE trailer shows that you can pick from the Super version or the AE version of each character!
What does this mean for tourneys? Maybe they won’t be reduced to a Yun fest after all!!! Will DEF make tournaments way, way, way more interesting!!!
Mike Ross gets to keep his strong Honda and doesn’t have to use a nerfed one!!!
I think it just means you’re allowed to play with people who didn’t purchase the DLC in super.
also no rebalancing - Yun/Yang are here to stay, as the best.

I think it means you can choose either version Super or “AE” in the options menu or soemthing(with yun…etc disabled if you pick super)
I dont think you can choose the version individually for each character …
that would make sense for those that would want to pop thier super disk in to compare to new AE stuff. A preserved copy of super on disk. secretly angry no special edition disk announced

It’s like a game you see, I want to see how many I will get right. And how close I will match the scores.
But yeah it’s not an entirely serious tier list. Sagat, Dudley and a few others should be higher than were I put them. But it’s just for fun so what the hell.
I liked mika going 3-7 with the entire cast though.

I’d like to know your reasoning being Gief’s place in A tier.
He does well vs. yun yang and fei…this might actually make him tournament viable. In Vanilla Gief was a lot better but Sagat being the most played (op) character in the game made him not so tournament viable.
Yeah if you basically go even with the top characters you’re a good character. I mean he’s still going to not be right at the top simply because he has swingy matchups, and stability is very underrated.
Yun and Fei are S tier.

Btw Feilong hasn’t changed much since vanilla along with a few other characters like Dictator and Chun Li. I guess he was S-tier all along. And it’s funny to see how high and low Dictator and Chun Li get placed too.
Many his normals got buffed in some way. The only nerf he got was HK CW invincibility. This already makes him a top char. The nerfs to other chars push him to the top.
