Both of the Twins are fucking good like everyone else should have been. How about that?

That’s why I’m playing 3S. I like the real twins better. LOL.

I feel similarly, but I still enjoy SF4. It tis’ a shame though that they’re getting rid of what made SF so unique to other fighting games and making the gameplay guess oriented with safe offense and really good vortex characters.

Plus the game is just more fun. I’ve been learning that shit on GGPO getting blown up all the time, regardless the game itself is a blast to play. I still like AE, but I’m kinda ready for other games to make there way to the front of the FG community. Hopefully 3S sees a revival and cross your fingers for SF x Tekken being good.

It’s a collection of resets though… surely you can train yourself to block that setup? Plus it burns all those bars which you may or may not have. Bad example, methinks

Well I like T.Hawk. He shuts the twins up.

Yeah 3S is gonna be that gdlk. If you like aggro games you might as well play 3S. This is some game with a bunch of defensive mechanics and low damage output trying to be aggro. Bleh.

SF x Tekken looked kinda weird to me at first and I hate that manly man SFIV art style but it looks fun.

So does Gief. Also been having some luck with Seth and Honda.

Yeh basically but its very difficult to do anything once youre in the air and it flips you back up. Like I said, its a bar burner but it does far more damage than the super, theres not much need for the super when EXs are that good. Its actually pretty easy to get into too. Ive seen it happen a few times browsing through some of the replays. You get hit and youre done from what I can tell so far from it. I dont use Oni but I did it in arcade mode pretty easily and it really dominates. Ive not played enough in ranked on AE yet to really experience it done against me so not got how to defend it down properly yet buts its looking to be turning even some good players into a mess at the moment from what Ive seen in replays.

Thats just one example of something simple that Oni can do. Theres a few other things Ive seen in the replay channels not on youtube yet that are pure filth from him. Really tempted to invest in a capture card right now.

Yep. Seth, Honda, T Hawk, Gief, Abel and even Hakan Ive seen do well against Yang especially. Yun fairs much better but still has more of a struggle than usual. Seems command grabs reign supreme atm. Especially Gief increased range on his grab now, Yang just doesnt have the range to not have to go in that zone it seems and the lariat stamps out the dive kicks.

yea i don’t understand what was hard to block about that at all. that yun just has no idea how to block in this game if he got hit by that 4 fucking times in a row.

Well its pretty easy to mix it up, you do the EX a couple of times they expect the cross up and then hold forward for the next one but then you go with a normal short one and hit them because theyre not blocking in front. Its easy to hit and high damage. As Ive said before, It may just be down to people learning the match ups of the new characters but definitely Oni has some very strong stuff going for him too and from what Ive seen he is generally wiping the floor like this with good players atm and from the replay channel also seems quite capable even in Yun matches to do this stuff as well as causing quite a bit of difficulty for charge characters and can keep brawlers away well too.

On the twins blowing grapplers thing, I think it’s funny they gave Yun a normal that sends the opponent flying to the other side of the screen (not to mention the palm of god, of course) and his DP puts him too on the other side of the screen where grapplers can’t do shit. It’s like they really don’t want him having any hard matchups.

Vids please, ty.

Gief can still grab Yun after his dp kick if he’s not standing right in front of him when he does it. Same with Honda and T.Hawk. The lunge punch can be reacted to and punished. The palm move is annoying, but still punishable.

Grapplers are really a problem for the twins. With a life lead they can turtle and punish the twins easy.

As I said, I dont have a capture card atm and Ive been watching on the replay channels. Sorry. Im sure theyll pop up on youtube somewhere though.

Without a doubt. At the moment Abel is from what I can tell the best of the batch though as he can just roll on past the palm push and has a few other good range or quick approaching moves like the wheel kick which can punish it pretty well. Then of course theres his down hp and his command grabs too.

yea i dunno, to me that movie is pretty slow in general, and him blinking is an indication of which way to block. but yea i guess i can see some people having trouble with it, kind of like how some people have troubles with blocking certain overheads.

before some japanese dude takes credit for it, i found an unblockable on both twins that beats both their dps.

its piss easy auto timing, and sets up from a simple foward throw mid screen

it cant be ducked, and every escape they have can be OSed.

Hello anti twin technology

with who?

Vids or it didn’t happen.

Or STSFN.

Even the roundhouse one? I was under the impression they’d be too far, but I’m really not all that familiar with grapplers.

Oh snap…
