I don’t know if I speak for the other coaches but I probably do. You should expect actual coaching when you sign up for this. The whole point of this league setup is for people to improve and correct their most glaring weaknesses. It’ll be fun, but only sign up if you really want to get better and are willing to actually look at your game and think about why you do the things you do.
I will second this.
I mean there are a lot of good players in SD but only good in SD you know. If there is a tourney at AI or somewhere in SoCal I want to road trip with my team up there if I become a captain and stuff like that. But we gotta see whats up since most likely we will be playing for captain spots. But if I do become one I’ll do my best to help out the people on my team and what not. Like I said this is one of the best things to happen in SD. But I know the A ranking players or like the rank after captain should know a lot, but every one has room to improve even pro players.
Casuals tomorrow at T.T.F. if you see this unless something happens family wise
I just want to say how hype I am for The League. Two days since announced and we are already beyond capacity!
Jay is right. Just as in any professional sport, successful athletes listen to their coaches for guidance to maximize results.
I am also glad all potential captains are taking this serious. This just goes to show that there is a great amount of willing people to share their knowledge and thus I expect all participants to take full advantage of what they have to offer. The game is suppose to be for fun, but I’m sure we can all agree that it is much more fun when you know that you’re improving. Winning comes after. This is everyone’s opportunity to shine so… SD… LET’S GO!!
@lacey I honestly doubt unless they main the same character that we will be getting character specific tips, i believe that it will most like be a breakdown in game play and improvements on certain things that seem to be a habitual problem in your game, ie footsies, when to and not to jump, and understanding when to pressure and not, mixup, the list could go on and on. I’m pretty sure this is what will be going on and seems the only logical way to train 4 different players on 4 different levels.
