Lol, console wars are for poor people.
It was Sony Computer Entertainment America, not all of Sony. Advanced V.G. 2 says what up.
for the record, when people talk about the difference between the 2 systems they aren’t refering to the fact that the ps3 runs the overall game-speed slightly slower (1 frame difference over the course of 60 seconds doesn’t mean anything). what people are talking about is that the arcade and 360 version has a 4 frame delay from when you push a button till it registers in the game, the ps3 has 5. go check it out in the tech talk section, someone went into depth testing that shit.
lulu, please don’t bring up that 4frame delay nonsense again. Did that ever get more than a weird slowed down HDRemix video test?
um… it got a full testing on ssf4 in a viewlix cab i think? i’ll try and dig up the thread from tech talk. it’s not nonsense, the guy backed it up with both his findings and his testing methods. as for telling me not to bring up facts, i’m… sorry? i guess lol fanboys will be fanboys
oh, ok. I just don’t want that old flame-filled discussion to be lighten up here again. no need. I’m not fanboying, it’s all the same shit to me either ways.
I’d like the link to that thread if you cna find it though.
ah, my bad then for snapping at you. i’ll keep trying to find it, not the biggest fan of srk’s search function. doesn’t really help that i can’t remember the exact thread title either.
It’s in this thread.
Cable’s blog post has a pretty extensive rundown of the testing method and the results.
thanks, i couldn’t find that thread for the life of me

I play on both and i go to many tournaments for both and i never have any issues with ps3 or xbox i think its just tv input lag that messes things up sometimes butas far as ps3 n xbox it feels the same to me
EVO will never have any event on 360. They are sponsored by Sony and even if they weren’t, they already have the hardware on hand and it would end up costing them more in the long run to buy all new 360’s. Also, the monitors they use at evo are lagless.
It’s just not going to happen. Get over it.
Monitor lag =/= system lag. I suggest doing your research before posting.
The post before his mentionned TV lag.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If you can’t win a match in SSF4 it’s not because of two frames of lag, it’s simply because your opponent is a better player than you. If you don’t want to play SSF4 on the PS3 they don’t go to Evo. There are plenty other tournaments out there so unless someone knows how to prevent 360’s from ever over heating I suggest you get over it and man up because it’s not going to change.
