I had one round won and was about to win second round till my router d/c’d. Person was trash talking out his ass… Some of these people are truly amazing
Look, I’m not here to make shit up about people. I don’t know y’all, I don’t compete in tournaments…I’m just a lowly B ranked player. But, I had over 3000 matches is SF4 and have over 1200 in SSF4 and to be fair I’ve ragequit plenty of times myself. That is why I know exactly what it looks like. If it was a connection problem, especially one with a router, then the game would just end. If it was a ragequit(which it was) the character will go dead for about a second or two as the match continues while the player exits to console. That is exactly what happened with outphasen. The connection was perfect the entire time except right before I beat him in the 1st round with an almost-perfect. Is that a coincidence? make your own judgment. But He didn’t respond to any messages until I mentioned this site. And I told him I would fight him if he admitted DC’ing.

Fought some guy last night, Animal INSTINCT, had like a 13 percent DC rate. Quit promptly after I won the first round.
This thread is dumb, if you take the game this seriously you are putting to much pressure on yourself to get better. Some one dissconnects dont play them and move onn with your life. If you sit there and get mad and waste your time posting and poundering your not getting better. 2 cents peace
Ps. i bet 25% of dissconnects are unintentional, wirless routers suck. Poeple’s houses are crazy, sh** happens.

i have a 0% quit , and im am not dumb enough to play someone who has a 13% and then play them and be like hmmm they quit… Some times bad things happen to poeple just because they are dumb. peaches

I kind of get where you’re coming from though, these things do happen. But I’m pretty sure this thread is to just share our rage quit stories. I don’t rage when someone rage quits, I get happy that I made someone angry enough to pull the plug. If you do take ranked seriously however, then that is pretty stupid.

Why not believe him? He offered you a rematch, your really mad enough to try your very best at making this whole thing public over ONE DISCONNECT that you wont even take the few minutes to rematch?

I had a ragequitter today. Psycho_Vega_LoM on PSN. It was really obvious that he was trying to mask it looking back at this. He did a flip kick and then a wall dive then pulled the plug lol.
