From you guys’ impressions about 10 characters seem to be Top 5. Lol. Cool. A more balanced game with more opportunities for other characters. Akuma will rape it seems. I think this game will be fun for Makoto players… it will be very very interesting, and fun.

I really doubt that. You can link neutral fierce after her choke though.

In 3s you could also combo cr. fierce, but it was tough.
It’s not any tougher than s.fierce imo. Sometimes I link cr.fierce online if there is lag because its easier. Imo of course.

it’d do the same thing it does now I imagine with any ultra that kills off chip(ie ken’s shoryu in vanilla) land the one hit then go into the animation
that video has me curious about dropping u1 combos now if it connects with jumps.

If it connects fully on a jump, does it connect fully on a juggle? Have someone knocked down in the corner, they wakeup with a neutral jump, fukiage them, then connect U1 on the juggle?
Might have hit her during her pre-jump frames.

Well, if it can land on jumping opponents I don’t know why it wouldn’t juggle aside from range concerns and tiny hitbox, maybe if it had no juggle potential at all but even then I suspect it would still land after Fukiage…

Edit- So far ive only seen it whiff against Guy and Ibuki’s standing short kick. Its looks like it will whiff against moves with a similar hit box to those. Itll be interesting to see what well spaced normals cause ex kara to whiff.
Sharin got one ultra per round in the most recent video vs. Ken. Sooner or later people will try avoid getting ultra’d at all cost and thats when the real fun starts.

Hey guys, hope you enjoy the videos, unfornately we couldnt get as much as we wanted because of a problem with the camera, im playing again today and tomorrow probably (yes, we cant stop) and hopefuly can get some videos. We had very very good matches makoto vs fasolls juri, too bad we couldnt record that.
I think makoto will do fine vs juri and ibuki, couldnt try vs gouki because the best spanish gouki lives so far away from here. Cody seems to have an edge over her, and tbh I dont know wtf to do against zangief, thawk or hakan but I need more time to get used to her normals.
Jump MK seems to be very good, im getting used to the timing for the crossup and its a nice air poke. C.mk seems to be a very nice anti air, even if it trades you can still dash under them and get a free mixup/crossup.
Keep in mind also that rickyTTT is one of the best players in europe, makoto has still more tools to use againt shotos im sure. I think she will do fine against ryu/sagat/gouki, dont be afraid for what you can see on videos.

yeah, i’m hoping it won’t end up in the final release. it defeats the whole purpose of the armor if makoto can’t grab a poke like that.
