The Gameplay in Pomona at the Swap Meet (it exists, row O/P/Q in the back near the arcade machines) says they’ll have Super this afternoon.
I put $20 for a copy so we’ll see.
Speaking of true SSFIV tourneys I was thinking of running something at Gameology (game shop in Montclair) on Friday May 7th @ 10 PM.
Preliminary details:
Game: SSFIV (nothing banned save game freezing/crashing glitches)
Date: Friday, May 7th @ 10PM
Place: Gameology

Entry Fee: $5 or $7 ($2 goes to the store)
Prize: 1st takes all minus an entry fee, 2nd gets their entry fee back
Console: 360
I would need some setups though (mainly games and displays), I only have one and the guy only has 2 projectors which won’t really work since there’s no sound. If you bring a setup (game + display) you get a free entry (still have to pay the $2 store cut). Owner has 2 360s we can use and I can bring my 360 and display (which I believe is lagless but then again I’m a scrub lol)
Would you guys be interested in something like this? I don’t want to step on SnC’s toes so I made it on a Friday instead. I figure this might work out better than Saturday night for some people.
