I’m guessing these vids will no longer be valid in some cases, eh?
I can only hope for 2 things regarding hitbox vids: Either somebody leaks new videos (not even sure how they did it in the first place) or Capcom actually implements a feature to allow you to see hitboxes in training mode (hopefully along with a frame by frame/slow-motion feature for added support).
Somehow I doubt the latter will happen since they haven’t mentioned it already.
In case these files in above are password protected. You can find ssf4 hitbox vids here. They also include the needed password in said link below. Hope it helps.
Is anyone else having an issue getting the Sakura hitboxes? I was able to get the rest of them fine, but the Sakura link starts to download and then times out at 6.2MB
If it is not just me, could someone please re-upload? Thank You.
Being a 3D game finding the memory address for the hitboxes is very troublesome. But it’s possible to reverse engineer some the bac/bcm files and find out the exact hitbox values and then try to hunt that down in RAM and create script to view the boxes just like how it’s done with emulators.
I already threw up Oni and Evil Ryu’s scans in their respective forums. Alioune has posted up Yun and Yang’s. You didn’t look hard enough.
Unless there’s a developer kit to see these, the scans are the best for now unless you want to manually count every single frame and hit angle from recorded videos.
Yea actually I have the still hit box data, but yea I was hoping to find the video data too. I do like to match the frames, and actually study the animation.
