NuckleDu’s uncle is a retired veteran Gief player. Hence why he knows the match up so well and isn’t afraid to get close to Gief.
Du has told me that in the Gief matchup he prefers to stand his ground and “fight him.”
I tried getting him to explain what was going on, but it was pretty difficult to understand. He was trying to say to beat his buttons and he’ll get scared, well basically out footsie Gief.

He seems to not try running away, staying as far from the corner as possible while maintaining a decent distance.
