b) An artbook. By artbook, I mean one with initial concept art going through to the final style/designs, with perhaps a description of each phase of the various designs (plus a bio). Also, so it’s not one of those stock comic-esque books simply called ‘an artbook’.
c) A DvD featuring some of sort of i) SF history ii) A combo/link guide for all Characters, and iii) possibly some match videos of tournament finals (i.e. the Evo final, plus some of the Jap tournament finals, and a look at UK and EU tournament final matches, e.g. SvB).
d) Some sort of bonus DLC allowing you to download SF:Zero 3, SF:Third Strike and CvS2. (All ‘remastered’ ala MvC2 with online multi-player lobbies).
Ok, it’s a little far fetched, but it would make for a superb collecter’s edition and worth the extra cost.
Really a shoulder bag is a good idea, the ryu one.
That vega mask is a dumb idea though, becuase it is indeed gonna prolly be made of a cheap plastic.
Along with the shoulder bag should come all alt costumes, and a dvd explaining how to play with the characters. Not that I need to know how, but it was a GREAT thing for blazblue, so why not street fighter?
There should be a tutorial DVD that stars some blonde haired douchebag in big pink sunglasses who gets hype as fuck over telling us how to do a cr. MK -> hadouken. Like the old days
I just want the damn costumes. Christ. I’m not going to watch a DVD since it’ll already be on YouTube by then, the action figure is just going to look like shit that fell in the dirt and spat cake up and I won’t wear a headband, but damn it I paid for Ryu to take his shirt off. Give me that.
UGH why the hell are so many people asking for such whack shit?? did they forget how shitty the figurines were last time???
JUST GIVE US THE COSTUME DLC!
I think that with the special edition you should get character specific, digital booster cards which you can attach to the specified character which increases attributes like walk speed, meter building rate, health points, dizzy points, and even increased special, super and ultra combo damage.
Every character can only have 3 of these such cards assigned to them so you never know what customization you’ll be up against!
Good shit. I wanted to post what they had as the “most wanted” stuff on here, but I don’t want anyone on here to skim over the page and think I’M asking for that shit.
i like the soundtrack, i still rock out to it. i just hated that it didnti want the intro song in it. But no matter what it comes with the super ce, u know every1 of us r still gonna buy it because if ur a big enough sf fan boy to go to disscussion forums and read and write all the time, u know ur a big enough fan to buy every collectors edition of sf games that u can! lol
Joking aside, a system like that would only work intentionally for the first few days until someone figured out the optimum configurations for each character, then it’d be the same as beforehand. Come to think of it, not a bad money spinner, release improved cards every couple of months and force everyone to buy into it just to stay competitive. -gets dragged away for revealing blizzard’s sales strategy-
This is why what they really need to do for a Collectors Edition is give the alt outfits. That’s the only thing anybody will really use. That and MAYBE the soundtrack.
i don’t get the point of including a dvd or an ost or whatever in a collectors edition - it’ll be something EVERYONE will have anyways because of the internet
it should be something unique that you can only get through that edition of the game and no other venue
like that blanka doll that appears in all those website photos or some kind of other doll/clothing/weapon whatever
