how is kansai weak? they have wao RF MDR Hishou Cantona KOG Noryasu Nike Chari etc, just to name a few… lets not forget the kansai team took out the tokyo(daigo,bonchan) and yokohama(mago,tokido) team at nationals to get to the finals. also if they were weak, they wont get rewarded with a lot of BP for beating weak players

i want to see some Michael tan’s vids. it’s either he is very strong or he plays in a very weak region. according to Tokido’s blog , Safari has alot of strong players like Daigo, mago go there all the time.
Tokido lost points with his akuma there and went to another arcade to level up and learn how to fight yun and yang. lol
michael tan is in a different region, far away from tokyo/kanto area or even kansai IIRC in kyushu area
but to say his region is weak is simply not true because you still have to win against people with high BP in order to gain a decent amount of BP
other thing that might be a difference is that certain region doesnt have experts in certain characters, making the top player of the region to not get enough good training/matchup experience
most opinion i heard ranked tokyo as strongest, followed by either the kansai area or something…
right now in tokyo no doubt safari is where the big boys hang out, plus its 50 yen per play too. things might be different when other arcades start to change to 50 yen a play
